Amber Celebrancy is a wedding celebrant business based in Rustington, West Sussex. Owner Lesley-Anne Lloyd is passionate about weddings and loves helping nearlyweds mark their walk down the aisle. Having worked in the Corporate and Charity sectors for over 35 years, specialising in large scale events, occassions and corporate celebrations, including organising four Royal celebration events, she excels at adding a personal touch and strives to create beautiful bespoke ceremonies for clients.

A wedding day is a wonderful day, it doesn’t matter where, it doesn’t matter when, all that truly matters is that your ceremony is the day you dreamed of, the day you planned, the day you want to celebrate and enjoy and the day you can reflect on for years to come.

Nowadays, a wedding ceremony can be held (almost) anywhere and include anyone.

Choosing a formal church ceremony is not right for everyone whether or not you have a formal faith. A church wedding follows a very definite format and doesn’t really allow for individuality and putting your personality into your ceremony.

You have the freedom to find your dream location for your ceremony, decide on the length of the ceremony, who will be involved, what format the ceremony will take and plan your special day and make it as individual as you are. Lesley-Anne will be there with you every step of the way to support, advise and suggest. Not all locations allow ceremonies so if you wanted to hold your ceremony on the roof of Buckingham Palace, we may have to reconsider options!

The venue for your ceremony can be a traditional licenced venue or something a little different. Options can be a forest, a waterfall, the beach, your home, a friend’s home, country houses, marquees and village halls. Some venues have private chapels that you can use for a non-religious ceremony.

You may wish to hold your ceremony where you met, a memorable date venue or where the proposal took place. A truly personal setting can be just one magical element for your day.

Your Choice

Ceremonies led by a Professional Independent Celebrant are the ideal choice for you to share and celebrate your wedding ceremony in a way that suits you.

Amber Celebrancy is not restricted in any way to what we can do on the day, as long as it is legal! Lesley-Anne can include spiritual, cultural or traditional components in your ceremony. You may wish to write your own vows & promises, or she can write them with and for you. Meeting you individually to support you in writing beautiful vows.

You may even choose to represent your love with a symbolic element such as a Handfasting “Tying the Knot”, candle lighting ceremonies, sand blending ceremonies, painting elements and many other beautiful mini ceremonies that we can include in your magical day.

The traditional exchange of rings is not actually part of the legal marriage, so this could be saved for your wedding celebration in front of your friends and family? Lesley-Anne has some truly beautiful ceremonies that we can include with your wedding rings. Ring warming ceremonies, native american heart ceremonies, saxon betrothal ceremonies and so much more.

Lesley-Anne can conduct a ceremony anywhere that you choose as long as it is permitted. You will need to formally marry with a legal exchange at a register office but the wedding ceremony can take place wherever you choose – whenever you choose. The legal contract can be done before or after your Wedding Ceremony.

Lesley-Anne has over 30 years of organising large scale celebration events in the corporate and charity sectors. From Annual Balls to smaller scale events she has a wealth of experience in organising, co-ordinating and delivering memorable events which have included four Royal celebration events. With this diverse experience, she can also offer you support in the organisation of your day from suppliers of venue, catering, cakes and decorations and is experienced in planning the whole day if this is something you also require.
