Verity was an absolute joy to work with from day one! We knew we wanted a wedding ceremony that was bespoke and personal to us, and she delivered upon that brief beyond all expectations.

Throughout the entire process, Verity was incredibly responsive to all our questions, eternally happy and positive, and always willing to assist in whatever way she could. After our initial call, we met up with her in person to go through the ins-and-outs of the whole day, which she was delighted to hear about, and more importantly, to chat through the style of ceremony we were looking for.

We were then each tasked with completing an individual questionnaire prior to video calls after which Verity started to draft our ceremony. She was so diligent to ensure this was crafted perfectly, with special sections kept secret from each other that we would only find out about on the day, which was a delightful surprise. Verity was also incredibly receptive to a couple of very minor suggestions/amendments to the draft, and had the revised scripts back to us in no time. We also wanted to write our own vows - despite having little knowledge in what makes a good set(!) - but she was always on hand to help, make suggestions, and ensure that both of our vows complimented each other in style and length.

The ceremony itself was delivered with plenty of character, charm, and emotion... and that was all after Verity had arrived so early to help put the finishing touches to the ceremony area on the morning itself. There were also plenty of calming words for the groom!

Working our way around our guests throughout the day after the ceremony, everyone genuinely seemed to believe that we had known Verity forever, which is testament to her efforts to get to know her couples and engage with their stories. A number of those also asked us how we managed to have Taylor Swift lead our ceremony, which we're sure you'll understand - if you get to meet her!

The finishing touch was the receipt of our marriage ceremony, printed and gift wrapped, which was the most lovely memento to open after the day itself and be able to flick back through to remind ourselves of the ceremony.

We can't thank Verity enough for her part in making our day as memorable as it was, and in her we have found a genuine friend who has played a monumental role in the best day of our lives.

We would have no reservations whatsoever in recommending her to anyone contemplating a celebrant-led celebration! And if you aren't contemplating a celebrant-led ceremony, then you should be!

The best decision we made for our wedding day was asking you to be our celebrant and to have a personal ceremony. The script was beautiful, it made us both laugh and cry. We loved how personal it was and how nice it was to be able to share our story with all of our guests in this way.
Everyone came to tell us just how wonderful our celebrant and service was and we could not agree more. You made us feel so comfortable whilst we were reading our vows in front of all of the guests, it was so lovely seeing your friendly face. Thank you also for being our MC (Master of Ceremonies) and coordinating the day so that we could just enjoy it! We are so happy and that you stayed to celebrate the whole day with us and can’t thank you enough for all of your help throughout our wedding planning journey.

Where to start..! I don't think I have enough nice words to say about Verity! From the very first call, and for the entire duration, she was always super positive and excited to be working with us on our wedding. Her personality is infectious and we'd always come away more excited than when the call started! She was very thorough and flexible when gathering information to include in the script, but we never felt any pressure to disclose information - it was all at our own pace, and Verity was very patient! The script we received was so highly personalised and told our story so beautifully - we honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. Verity also helped with some suggestions of extra bits we could include in the ceremony to pad it out a bit since we didn't want any readings. Both ideas were completely unique - I had never seen them done at any other wedding before, and neither had most of our guests. Having the ring warming was a really nice touch, as it gave our guests the chance to give the well wishes and be involved in the ceremony, but also gave us a chance to sit for a few minutes and take in everything that was happening, instead of just standing at the front with all eyes on us the entire time. So many of our guests came to us afterwards to say what a lovely ceremony it was, and how wonderful Verity was throughout. They also mentioned how infectious her personality is, and I really think it helped set the tone for the rest of the day. I honestly can't recommend Verity highly enough - she is such a joy to work with, and you will have the most beautiful and unique ceremony with her in charge!
