We’d already had the idea of using a celebrant rather than having a registrar for our wedding and we met Paula at a wedding fayre one sunny Sunday afternoon and left feeling excited by the prospect. We really liked Paula and felt that she would be perfect for us. We had an initial chat over a Zoom call and booked her in straight away, not realising that we were her first ever booking! After 18 months of planning, our day was amazing! It was as if Paula had known us for years! She told our story, involving those no longer with us and made us feel so relaxed. The whole ceremony was loving, warm and fun, exactly what we wanted. Some of our guests commented that it’s the best wedding they’d ever been to!

Unfortunately, whilst planning our wedding, we also had to plan my dad’s funeral. We felt that Paula was the perfect person to do his life celebration. Paula had never met my dad, but so many people said what a beautiful service it was and that it was as if she’d been a friend of the family for a long time. We also had some laughs along the way, exactly what dad would have wanted. Paula did him, and us as a family, very proud.

Paula has been an absolute pleasure to work with and has become a good friend to us. She’s organised, friendly, has a great sense of fun and humour and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a celebrant for a wedding or funeral.

From the moment we had our first consultation with Paula, we knew that she was definitely the celebrant for us. Paula made us both feel at ease, ensuring that she really got to know us personally as a couple, as well making the effort to get to know those closest to us. She also made sure to check in with us regularly throughout the whole planning process, including sharing her unique tips and tricks to ensure we could successfully "tie the knot" (see photos for actual evidence of this!). By being there every step of the way, both virtually and in person, Paula really helped me and my (now) husband to really enjoy planning our wedding ceremony.

We absolutely loved our ceremony, as did all of our guests. One guest even remarked "this is the most unique and thoughtful wedding that I've ever been to".

From meeting Paula for the first time at a wedding event in March, it was quite clear that we wouldn’t want anybody else to host our ceremony on our special day. Paula made us feel at ease on numerous occasions as we met to plan our ceremony. When the big day came we had such lovely comments about how personal the ceremony was.
