I’m Chris Platts, a fully trained professional celebrant dedicated to creating unique and memorable ceremonies for every special occasion. Married to my wonderful wife, Rebecca, and a proud father of two amazing sons, Edward and George, I understand the importance of celebrating love and life’s significant moments.

After serving over 14 years in the Royal Air Force (RAF) in various HR and administration roles, including as part of the unit welfare team, I transitioned to become a celebrant. I trained at The International College of Professional Celebrants (ICPC), joining a vibrant community of celebrants from across the UK and beyond. My background in the RAF has instilled in me core values of Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence, which I carry into my celebrant work.

Becoming a celebrant allows me to continue my passion for assisting and guiding people through life’s pivotal moments. Whether it’s the joy and celebration of a wedding ceremony or the empathy and support needed during a loss, my mission is to create ceremonies that truly reflect your desires and emotions.

As your celebrant, I will tailor the ceremony to your preferences, making it as special and unique as your love story. From the location—be it a hotel, beach, romantic woods, or your own back garden—to every detail of the ceremony, we will create a bespoke celebration just for you.

- Sand Ceremony: Symbolize your union by pouring sand from separate vessels into a unified, central one.

- Cocktail Ceremony: Mix alcohol and mixers to create a unique cocktail celebrating your marriage.
