Hi! I’m Claire, a Northern Ireland native and Humanist Wedding Celebrant.

Having been an English teacher for 16 years, I have a true passion for words and stories. I also love to meet people, learn about their lives, and (strangely!) I feel very at home speaking in front of large groups of people!

It was the combination of these things that inspired me to train to become a Humanist Celebrant. Having had my own Humanist wedding ceremony, I knew how special it was to be able to share the story of my relationship with someone and watch them weave it into a beautiful ceremony to be shared with our loved ones on our wedding day. There were tears of laughter and tears of joy – it was perfect, and I knew I wanted to create that same feeling for other couples.

I have now conducted well over 150 joyous wedding ceremonies, each one unique and deeply personal. Whether it's an intimate elopement, a grand celebration, or something delightfully unconventional, I work closely with couples to craft a ceremony that reflects their love story, values, and personalities. From heartfelt vows to joyful laughter, my aim is always to create a warm, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels connected and uplifted. No two weddings are ever the same, and that’s exactly how it should be!

Stories have bonded us together since the beginning of time, being passed down from generation to generation and documenting the most important moments in our lives. What could be more important than telling the story of your Great Love?
