After more than three decades as a presenter on television and radio, Debbie decided to follow her passion and train to be a celebrant. An incurable romantic and experienced BBC scriptwriter, she aims to bring your ceremony alive with beautiful readings and music.

Debbie is available for writing and performing bespoke ceremonies across Surrey and London. Tutored by David Attenborough, Debbie can bring a distinctive touch to your nuptials that is inspiring, joyful and personal. Having worked as a presenter, she knows just how to keep people calm under pressure. Whether you opt for a garden, beach, or traditional venue, she can help you bring special touches to the day with beautiful music, readings, and personal vows. There are no rules with Debbie's services, just guidance and support for your chosen ceremony style. Non-religious or including prayers, unity candles or simple handfasting, Ed Sheeran or a favourite poem—the choice will be entirely yours.

Debbie made the ceremony incredibly personal by getting to know the bride and groom so well beforehand, she was a great calming influence on my extrovert daughter and her far more reserved fiancé and wove the details of their whirlwind romance into a ceremony which had us laughing and crying in equal measures. It was a perfect magical day and Debbie had a big part in creating that.
