I'm Laura and I want to give you the wedding ceremony of your dreams! I am an independent wedding celebrant based in between the Cotswolds and Stratford Upon Avon in Warwickshire but I will travel anywhere for love! I've been a wedding celebrant for almost 5 years and have had the pleasure of conducting personal and unique ceremonies for countless couples across the UK and Europe. I got married 6 years ago and wasn't ready to say goodbye to the wonderful world of weddings so I decided to train with the UK Society of Celebrants and now I count my lucky stars that I get to call this my job. I get to work with amazing couples, find out all about how they met, fell in love and got engaged and then the best bit - I get to put on a fancy dress and conduct their wedding ceremony! What's not to love?
I work with couples to bring their ceremony ideas to life and I want to do the same for you! From our very first meeting, to leading your ceremony in front of your friends and family, I will work with you every step of the way to give you the guidance and support you need throughout your wedding planning process. Every ceremony I have conducted is different; from big weddings at stately homes, castles and manor houses to small intimate weddings in fields, forests and farms. I will get to know you inside out so that I can tell your love story and give you a ceremony that is perfectly 'you'. We literally cannot even begin to explain just how amazing Laura Crockett is!!!
When we first started to look into our wedding ceremony we knew we wanted something which was unique to us and we had a clear idea of what we were looking for but didn’t know that we could ever achieve it. But….then we found Laura!!!
As a same sex couple we knew our options to have a religious ceremony in a church was limited but our faith was so important to us that we didn’t give up hope for a ceremony that would reflect this. After finding Laura and discussing our ideal ceremony she began to help us in making this a reality. From supporting us in our discussions with the registrar to sharing a bottle of prosecco with us whilst she creatively pulled ideas together for our love story……Laura was an absolute dream to work with and made our ceremony the most beautiful and special moments we could ever of wished for. What makes Laura so unique is her absolute passion for what she does and in how she gets to know you as individuals. Laura went from being our celebrant to being our friend - she was a huge part of our day….. helping us in seating our guests through to introducing us and getting our guests on their feet for our wedding breakfast!! When planning a wedding we had to really consider where we spent our budget but we can tell you now, investing in Laura was the best decision we made! All our guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The biggest of thank yous Laura….and looking forward to another bottle of prosecco with you soon 😂😘 xxxx
