Hi! There's one big advantage in having a former TV presenter as your Celebrant - you can be sure everyone at the back will be able to hear! But joking aside, I've been lucky enough to share the most important moments of so many people's lives in my job...becoming a qualified wedding Celebrant feels like a natural progression and a way of spreading happiness!

I know it's scary entrusting your precious ceremony to someone you've hardly met... so this is me: I live in Manchester and have two grandchildren (so far!) and two very scruffy dogs. I love adventures and have sailed round Cape Horn, ridden a vintage motorcycle in South Africa and I'm about to take the train through Europe to Istanbul. I also write and publish biographies and memoirs for anyone who wants to record their lives in print.

Inviting me to help create your memories is a huge privilege - after all, you’re welcoming me into your life. So it’s really important for you to know that whoever you are, however you live your life, whatever your background and beliefs and whatever your relationships..I truly love that we're all different and I promise to reflect your values in all my ceremonies. Oh - and did I mention we'll have fun too?

- Choose your favourite music and readings…or include my own, chosen just for you. Special traditions and rituals? I can weave them in
- You’re not alone on this (sometimes stressful!) journey - I’ll be with you throughout to support and guide...and I'll work closely with your other suppliers too
- Once you’re happy with my script for your wedding, you can be absolutely confident I will conduct your ceremony with the warmth, joy and professionalism you expect - I know how to deliver an amazing show on the day!
