I’m Marcus Armstrong, and I am The Storyteller Celebrant.
I am a fully qualified Civil Celebrant, Professional Screenwriter and Actor, covering the South West and beyond and willing to travel as far as is needed to conduct your amazing ceremony!
I'm a different kind of Celebrant...
Gone are dusty old words and bland templates - with me, everything is completely original, taking the traditional and putting a modern and personal twist on it, based on your unique story.
Now don't get me wrong, it's a serious day with a serious commitment, but it should also joyful and happy and fun! I will never deliver a boring ceremony - with me it's all about using humour and laughter to enhance the emotion of the day, weaving a line between serious and comical to create something truly unique - like you!
I don't do checklists or forms to gather information, instead we just chat! You tell me how you see the day, then you tell me some stories and I do the rest.
And it's always the little things that matter mostly!
A few real examples:
- From an intimate wedding where the couple exchanged vows promising to remember to load the dishwasher and pick up their socks!
- To an illustrious, sparkling celebrity wedding at Christmas, featured in Hello! Magazine, where the circus was stripped back to become simple, focussing on the people and not the spangles; and how it all started with a dodgy cup of tea.
- And an immersive Fairy Masquerade at an old pub, welcoming people from all over the world to a dimension created by stories - celebrating two Women's love of Fantasy, and how that brought them together.
This is the most personal day of your life, and I use laughter and joy to write something that celebrates who you are as a couple!
