I'm a different kind of Celebrant
Gone are dusty old words and bland templates—with me, everything is completely original. I take the traditional and put a modern, joyful and personal twist on it: based on your unique love story.
Now, don't get me wrong—it's a serious day with a serious commitment, but it should also be happy, and fun! I will never deliver a boring ceremony—with me, it's all about using humour and laughter to enhance the emotion of the wedding day, weaving a line between serious and funny to create something truly unique—like you!
I don't use checklists or forms to gather information; instead, we just chat! You tell me how you see the day, then you tell me some stories, and I do the rest. And it's always the little things that matter most.
Then, I will take those little things and weave them through the very structure of the ceremony, creating something new and exciting, emotional, funny, personal—and yours. Always and completely yours.

- An intimate wedding where the couple exchanged vows promising to remember to load the dishwasher and pick up their socks!
- An illustrious, sparkling celebrity wedding at Christmas that was featured in Hello! Magazine. We stripped away the circus and it all became simple, focussing on the people and not the spangles; and how it all started with a dodgy cup of tea.
- An immersive fairy masquerade at an old pub, welcoming people from all over the world to a dimension created by stories—celebrating two people's love of fantasy and how that brought them together.

Well, I create story-based ceremonies, in a way that no one else can.
I am a Professional Screenwriter and Actor, so I know my way around a tale! I use my years of experience as a celebrant and storyteller to tell your story just as you want it!
What's more, I'm very qualified. I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Wedding Celebrancy, a Masters Degree in Screenwriting and a BA in Performance.

Perfectly Crafted Ceremony
Marcus made our special day truly memorable. He turned our small story notes into flowing narratives, and entertained our guests across cultures, backgrounds and language barriers. He crafted a ceremony for us with just the right balance of funny vs. romantic material, and he took our direction very well to make sure the tone suited the venue and audience. He was also excellent as an MC, guiding everyone to the right location on time and freeing us as the couple from doing the more mundane wedding duties. We had the best ceremony and everything went super smoothly with Marcus on our side!

A complete storytelling experience of the senses
A wedding is a celebration of love and life, and we wanted a day that was uniquely ours in every way. We instantly knew Marcus was the celebrant and MoC for us. He has an ability to connect with you in a way that feels familiar and comforting, like a warm embrace from a long-lost friend. Marcus hand-held us through the entire process and took a considered approach to everything - from the words to be said, to where we would sit, to the light of the room. He took our individual stories and wove them into a beautiful, cohesive narrative - bringing together two families as one - and worked with my daughter to help her write and deliver a heartfelt tribute to her stepfather: the highlight of our ceremony. There were fun elements throughout, and together we crafted an idea of celebrating our union with the mixing and sharing of cocktails, as one does! Effortlessly, Marcus was the glue that held our entire day together and all our guests commented that it was the most unique and fun wedding they had ever been to. A complete storytelling experience of the senses - cinematic, impactful, memorable - with Marcus as your celebrant, you will certainly have the most incredible day.

We trusted, Marcus delivered
There aren’t enough stars or words to convey how important the role Marcus played at our rather unconventional wedding. So much so, he had a place at the top table for the wedding breakfast. Marcus not only had full responsibility for creating a funny and uplifting ceremony that had our guests in stitches, it continued throughout the day as he doubled as the master of ceremonies. The result was a slick operation, seamlessly moving guests and service providers on time and without fuss. Ceremony, breakfast, speeches and disco all took place in different parts of a large property and without his relaxed but authoritative manner it would have been chaos. I don’t plan on ever getting married again, but if I did he’s would be the first person on my list to contact

Absolutely amazing!
Marcus was amazing from start to finish. When we first asked him to write our ceremony we had no idea what we wanted but he talked us through all options and we soon figured it out. Marcus wrote our ceremony with so much thought and hit the nail on the head with the theme and captured our story perfectly. Almost every guest commented on how amazing Marcus was and we can’t agree with them more. We can’t recommend Marcus enough, he’s great!

A perfect blend of love and laughter
We didn't know what we were looking for when we started our search for a celebrant, but we stumbled across Marcus's website and were drawn in by his welcome video. We arranged a call with him and knew straight away that he was the celebrant for us. Marcus is friendly, relatable and approachable and we knew immediately that we were in good hands.
After booking him, we had several meetings with Marcus, one of which involved him coming to our venue in order to get a feel for the space. He was organised and professional throughout and gave us so many ideas which helped us to collaborate on our perfect ceremony.
Marcus made our ceremony so unique and personal. He weaved humour throughout it and created the perfect blend of love and laughter. It was an incredibly memorable ceremony and so many of our guests told us that it was the hilight of their day.
We couldn't reccomend Marcus enough and are hoping that some of our guests will have him as their celebrant in the future so we have the pleasure of attending a Marcus led ceremony again!

Wonderful Ceremony
Marcus was INCREDIBLE! Our ceremony was beautiful, personal, funny, and everything we could’ve asked for. Our guests were so impressed with the vows that Marcus wrote for us that they were the talk of the evening. He also prepared a script of our vows that has become a great keepsake. I would recommend Marcus to anyone who needs an officiant! Thank you so much for making our day so special!

10/10 - the perfect celebrant
Marcus is absolutely brilliant. He was our celebrant and master of ceremonies for our wedding and we cannot recommend him highly enough.
He’s attentive, fun with great attention to detail and really puts in the effort to get to know you as individuals and as a couple.
In the build up to the wedding, we had meetings online and in person so that he could really personalise the ceremony and the whole day. Marcus came up with some great ideas which we incorporated and was always engaged and enthusiastic about shaping the ceremony into what we wanted.
He drafted the perfect ceremony which reflected us brilliantly and he captured the exact tone that we were looking for. He really was a 10/10 celebrant.
As MoC, he was equally as brilliant and was exactly what we needed. He was such a calming presence and had our full trust that he’d help sort any unexpected issues we may face on the day.
He really went above and beyond and we felt he had genuine emotion and put so much care into creating our special day. He was the perfect balance of involved but in no way intrusive and was always available. Marcus also helped the bridesmaid with her rehearsal run through of her reading in the morning of the wedding, which was a great touch!
Marcus’ involvement during the whole process was brilliant and we cannot thank him enough for all of his efforts! We received countless compliments about him as celebrant and master of ceremonies and many of our guests thought he had known us for longer which shows just how attentive, caring and funny he was throughout.

Exceeded all expectation!
We couldn't have asked for more with how incredibly magical our ceremony went. Marcus orchestrated the ceremony so beautifully - it was filled with warmth, laughter, and most importantly a personal touch reflecting our very own personalities. It went flawlessly even when the Bluetooth speaker unexpectedly went out of control! What I love the most is that he went above and beyond to get to know us personally from the very first moment we 'met' despite us not being based in the UK at the moment. To be honest, I was hesitant when he asked us to write a couple of stories about our love/each other. Little did I know that the story writing process not only create so much personality in the script for the ceremony, but also it made me feel so much more deeply in love and appreciate my husband even more! It was so genuine, engaging and stress-free having you as our celebrant that we could do it all over again. A big thank you from the both of us! Xx

We wanted a ceremony which had no alignment to religion, but simply told a story of our relationship and adventures over the last 12 years. Marcus immediately understood what we wanted and was so easy to work with.
After a couple of video calls and some content from each of us, he brought our story to life highlighting the most important ingredients of our friendship and partnership and ultimately why we decided to get married.
Marcus absolutely excelled on the big day with a commanding performance that captivated our 80 strong guests. Even our photographer paused to listen for a while during the ceremony such due to the story telling.
We would highly recommend Marcus for any type of wedding or ceremony due to his welcoming and flexible approach and when pulling together the cornerstones of content and his ability to bring tell our story to those closest to us with a perfect balance of wit, laughter and lovely sentiment.
