I am an independent celebrant based in the South West but happy to travel. Having been an English teacher for many years, it was time to hang up my books, pick up my pen and start creating happy environments at weddings rather than in classrooms. Being a lively, welcoming and above all joyful human, I started last year by creating a Welcome to the World ceremony for a couple I am good friends with and their gorgeous little girl and loved it - so many people said I should consider switching, and I have never looked back.

Forest or field, house or home, cliff top or castle, hotel or stately home: wherever you want to get wed, we can do it! Just ask me and we can get going.

Every couple is unique so every ceremony needs to reflect that. Words and stories, poems and readings, music and laughter all need to be woven together to create your day and I am here to work with you to make that fantastic.

Unity ceremonies from handfasting to quaiche cup, sand ceremony or plant potting together or writing each other letters or creating secret vows...you name it, we can do it.

This is how it works:

• we hook up - online or in person
• we have some fun getting to know one another
• I create a draft order of service
• we meet again - this time to work out the nitty gritty
• I write a ceremony
• you get married!
