My style and approach as a wedding celebrant are in qualities that define genuine, happy, kind, and hardworking characteristics. I believe that every love story is unique and deserves to be celebrated in a way that reflects the couple's personalities and values.
I approach every couple with sincerity. I take the time to truly listen and understand their journey, ensuring that their ceremony is a true reflection of their relationship.
Services Offered
Firstly, I didn't realise how much my personality attracts couples to book me, through the feedback/reviews I have received, I am totally humbled. I am very much a people person and communication with Brides and Grooms is key to my business, giving them guidance and offering advice on many wedding subjects. I will put you at ease and give you the confidence for your wedding day.
Continuous contact and communication is key, Brides and Grooms create their ceremony with my guidance and experience, empathy and building trust in me with them, and all my Wedding couples will say that we became good friends. Drafting their ceremony is a privilege, once drafted it is sent to them to be proof read and returned with any changes, if we get to draft 87, I don't mind, its their special day. I meet all my couples the week or days before the wedding day, its a nervous and exciting day for them, during the ceremony I whisper each and every section to them, they are then aware what is coming up next
Nigel can provide his services in any location that best suits you. From town hall to back garden, no idea location is out of bounds for this celebrant.

A unique and special ceremony from the best celebrant around!
A five star review for a truly incredible celebrant! It can be overwhelming choosing a celebrant from a simple biography of information about them but something stood out about Nigel and his character.
From the moment we contacted the communication was prompt, efficient and personal. Nigel also made a special effort of coming to see us in person to get to know us before the day itself.
We were sent over three versions of the ceremony draft and could make tweaks / additions as we pleased. The list of additional extras that can be placed in to the ceremony are so special and unique.
The day itself Nigel was friendly and professional and we have been bawled over at the feedback from friends following the ceremony, most of which have not attended a celebrant ceremony before. Even the photographer commented that there was not a dry eye in the place (including Nigel!)
We were presented with our vows and reading in beautiful hand made booklets, the wedding certificate itself and copy of the service afterwards. I so wish we could do it all again!
Thank you again Nigel for making the lead up and the ceremony itself such a special time.

Amazing from our first meeting, to our big day!

Perfect celebrant
Nigel was perfect throughout, from the moment we met him to the end of our service .
He was friendly and personal , we were at ease with every step, the fact he felt like we had known for ages meant he made the day go so easy and perfect , the service was personal and perfect for our day , we can't thank Nigel enough for the way he was before the big day and on the day , can't fault him and thank him enough .

Everything we could of dreamed of!
Nige is an absolutely incredible man - charismatic, personable, professional, calming and friendly. He was our wedding celebrant and we couldn't have found someone better for the job! His communication was amazing throughout and he kept us reassured from our initial enquiries right up to the end of the ceremony. He answered endless emails and queries quickly and checked in on us throughout.

He met with us both before the ceremony and kept us calm, especially me as I was terrified of the aisle walk/reading of the vows. During the ceremony, I felt calm knowing Nige was there and he constantly reassured me and guided us through the whole thing. We didn't want a long ceremony but Nige perfectly tailored it to capture our story with great detail and had everyone laughing. We had numerous comments from guests to say it was one of the nicest and personalised ceremonies they had been to - which was so lovely to hear.
We both 100% recommend booking Nige, he was worth every penny and we wouldn't hesitate to book again for a future occasion. Thanks again Nige, it was a pleasure to have you as part of our wedding day!

Nigel was an absolute delight to work with for mine and Sams wedding on July 1st. His professionalism and warmth were evident from our first meeting. He took the time to get to know us both, ensuring that the ceremony was deeply personal and heartfelt.

Everything we wanted, such a calming presence
Nige was everything we wanted! When we first met him, he instantly gives you a sense of calm and reassurance. Exactly what we thought we'd need on our big day! He was so professional and his guidance on our ceremony was amazing. He spoke so well and all our guests loved him, we got so many comments on how great he was in our ceremony. Plenty of options on how to make the whole ceremony personal to us. Thanks so much Nige, we 100% recommend people book you!

Amazing celebrant!
My husband I are so pleased we chose Nigel to conduct our marriage ceremony in front of all our family and friends! He was fantastic from start to finish, getting to know us via Zoom initially due to the distance but then even making a trip up to the north east to see us and meet our children, Nigel went above and beyond asking questions, understanding what meant most to us, and always followed up with an email or text to confirm what he had. Nige had no issues making little changes to our ceremony at our request. On the day, he was amazing - he kept us calm, and talked us through what we needed to do, making it all sound so easy. Everyone commented on what an incredible ceremony it was, in particular our love story which was put together by Nigel after our many conversations. Highly recommended - thanks again!! X

Can’t speak highly enough of Nige!
We knew we wanted a celebrant to perform the ceremony at our wedding, wanting a more personal experience than an ‘in and out registrar’ ceremony. This certainly was personal. Nige got to know both of us before and came up with a ceremony that was absolutely perfect for us. He was on hand everytime we needed him and went above and beyond for us. If I could rate him higher than A* I would, and I would urge anyone who is unsure to just hire Nige. You won’t regret it I promise!

Where do I start?? Let me begin...
We didn't start our journey looking for a celebrant, but due to our circumstances the need arose and let me say we stumbled upon a diamond!! Nigel was amazing from start to finish. He met with us and instantly we were put at ease, the ideas he had for our ceremony were amazing and added something you could never get from just having a registrar. He took all our information away from the meetings and came up with our own fully customised ceremony. When he took the time to build our own story to present to our guests he had many of them in tears and the extra dimensions he provides in customising the ceremony to your individual needs and desires goes beyond the extra mile. Guests at the ceremony were quick to say it was one of the best weddings they had attended and the venue even took his details for future bookings. If you've taken the time to read this review your search for your celebrant has ended as I can confirm you won't get any better than Nigel, he comes highly recommended!! He's worth more than the 5 stars and beyond!!

Nigel Bould - top chap!!
You know when you're planning a big event and you want it all to go smoothly, and you have so much to think about and you want a couple of people to shoulder some of that responsibility? Well that's what working with Nigel is like. Ours wasn't a traditional wedding - it was a commitment ceremony, so we wanted to avoid some of the standard words, phrases and specifics associated with a Wedding, whilst still embodying the sentiments and love we shared. Start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. He made us both calm and relaxed, took some of the pressure off us, had some great ideas, was really swift with clear communication, made us giggle and helped us enjoy a fabulous day. Thanks Nigel - our special day wouldn't have been what it was without you xx

Perfect Day! Double renewal
We had a double Vow renewal to celebrate 25 years for myself/my husband and my sister-in-law and her husband. It was absolutely incredible. The day was perfect. It went like clockwork. Nigel made everything run so smoothly, so personal and intimate, but on a huge grand scale of a wedding. The guest were very emotional as our children were involved in the hand tying, the weather and doing it at home in a marquee with 150 guest was just perfect and Nigel controlled it all without any Rigid formalities. Highly recommend
