Richard is fully qualified and was trained by the leading Celebrant training organisation in the UK. Not all celebrants obtain the qualification, it's not a requirement in the UK, and it takes time, effort and significant cost. However, Richard believes it was worth it to be able to deliver the very best service to his clients.

He is passionate about creating a beautiful ceremony which reflects his couple's lives and their love for one another. Ceremonies are delivered with style, confidence and grace along with a healthy dose of humour. Relaxed but structured.

Richard likes to keep his fees very affordable and it includes:

• Initial intro meeting and any subsequent Zoom meetings.
• Unlimited time devoted to creating and perfecting your ceremony.
• Advice, ideas and guidance on logistics, music, readings, writing vows, props and symbolic acts.
• Any enhancement required such as Candle Ceremony, Loving Cup, Hand Fasting etc.
• Advice and guidance on writing your vows (or I can write them for you/with you).
• Writing of a completely bespoke wedding ceremony script.
• Printing of all readings for the ceremony.
• A printed presentation script in a folder, for you to keep and treasure forever.
• Commemorative Wedding Certificate to sign during the ceremony.
• Use of any of my fabulous props - eg unity candle sticks, loving cup, handfasting ribbons, sand ceremony vases etc.
• The delivery of your ceremony on the day (with lots of smiles).
• Bose PA system for ceremony music if required.

Richard encourages communication between himself and his clients during the writing process to ensure that they are satisfied with the result. He can provide his celebrant services for various faiths, including Baptist, Catholicism, Methodist, and more. He also offers secular services for non-religious or humanist couples.

Having worked in the wedding industry for many years, he is a seasoned professional with a great passion for helping couples create their dream wedding experience.

Richard's background makes him uniquely placed to deliver your ceremony with professionalism, confidence and humour. When he is not creating and delivering ceremonies, Richard works as a Supporting Artist in Films & TV. Recent productions include Bank of Dave, The Confessions of Frannie Langton, Peaky Blinders, Victoria, and many more. Richard also appeared as a contestant on Channel 4's 'Come Dine With Me' and despite a lack of cooking skills, won the show!
