Simply the best!
How could you not....
Paul. You are truly born for this role. When we first met you over zoom in early 2023, we were immediately put as ease hearing your love and compassion for what you do. And my word, the time and energy you put into I'm sure each and every couple you meet is truly wonderful. Your speech was absolutely beautiful and your help in preparing our vows and readings was just the icing on the cake. We really could not have done our day without there, you really brought the love and joy to our ceremony, and it was truly a pleasure getting to know you the last few months. We couldn't recommend you enough!

Paul Blackett, fantastic, personal, amazing!
Paul made us feel so at ease in our first meeting, making us feel no pressure to use him as our celebrant (even though we almost instantly knew we would!)
We met many times over Zoom, so he could craft the perfect script from the stories we told him. After we received the script, Paul again made sure we didn't feel guilty suggesting changes or cutting bits out, reminding us it is our love story and he wants it to be perfect.
He introduced us to hand fasting, which we used at our ceremony, and our guests loved.
We had so many guests tell us it was the best ceremony they had ever attending, the best quote was:
'I've had two kids who have both been married, and that's the best wedding ceremony I have even been at!'
Overall, Paul was incredible! Kind, approachable, personable, funny. He made our ceremony perfect. I could not recommend him more.

The venue that myself and my now husband had booked wasn’t a register venue so we were unable to ‘legally’ be married there.
We did some research and came across Paul, which was the best decision we made for our wedding. We had lots of phone calls with Paul and talked us through the way he worked and what kind of ceremonies he conducted and it was just perfect for us, we chatted and he was so so easy to speak to and he felt like the perfect fit for our day and to conduct our ceremony in a very relaxed way.
He created the most perfect ceremony, inviting our guests to listen to ‘our story’, it was humorous, engaging and really filled the day with love.
I can’t thank Paul enough for how comfortable he made us feel at such a nerve wracking time, all our guests positively commented on the ceremony.
If you’re looking for someone to make your day relaxed and light then Paul is your guy, he really captures your story and your personality and delivers this in his script.

Highly highly recommended!
Paul has been an absolute joy to have as our celebrant. We were completely blown away by his ability really to listen to our relationship story and transform it into a truly magical script. Our friends and family were very moved. He has been so professional, so friendly, we could not have asked for anything better. Thank you Paul for everything you have done to make our day so special

Excellent, professional and adaptable to our crazy ideas!
From the moment we first made contact with Paul, we knew he was the celebrant we wanted to conduct our Humantist ceremony! Paul has a cracking sense of humour, has a creative mind and is able to bring any vision alive. We knew we wanted a personalised script for our ceremony, to be able to share our story with our friends and family and Paul captured this perfectly. Paul threw suggestions our way, allowing us to explore readings, vows, celtic traditions and symbolism within our ceremony. He was open to all of our weird, wacky and wonderful ideas and really created and conducted a ceremony that both of us will remember forever and for this we are eternally grateful.

Beautiful personal ceremony

Paul was amazing from start to finish.
Paul put great care and thought into making our ceremony unique and personal to us. We had an initial 2 hour chat where we told Paul our story (and after 10 years together it was long!). He made us feel comfortable and at ease straight away. We felt like we were talking to an old friend which made it so easy for us to open up and share our love story.
After the session, Paul pulled together a lovely script, full of beautiful moments and some funnier aspects too which is what we were after. It was pretty much spot on for what we were hoping for,
We also decided on our own vows, both a little nervous to write from scratch, Paul gave us both a helping hand. They were absolutely beautiful and we had a few of our family and friends crying happy tears.
Beautiful personal and presented ceremony. Paul also made me feel at ease when I made it to the altar as I was quite nervous.
I would highly recommend Paul if you are wanting a beautiful ceremony personal to you as a couple.

Paul was brilliant and would have no hesitation in recommending him.
Paul was very professional from our very first contact. We had a home visit from Paul where he took several hours asking questions and listening to our stories and this gave him the basis of the script. A draft was sent to us to review and this was followed up by a Zoom meeting and the script was completed. Some minor finessing and it was ready to go. On our wedding day Paul was brilliant. He coordinated the walk in music and conducted the ceremony in a very clear and professional way. Many of our guests commented what a fabulous service it was. We were delighted with the outcome. We also received a personalised certificate and a master copy of the script.
We would highly recommend Paul to carry out your service. Paul is a lovely man and he won’t let you down.

A fantastic choice!
After contacting Paul with only four weeks to our ceremony, he was extremely accommodating and made sure that everything was exactly as we imagined on the day, even at such short notice. Paul was easy to talk to and from our first meeting he put us at ease, explaining each step of the process. He listened to everything we wanted and really got to know us as a couple, creating a script which was perfect. He took on board all of our input and made any tweaks and changes that we requested.
On the day, he was there to guide us through the ceremony making sure we were comfortable at all times. Paul conducted a fantastic ceremony that many of our friends and family commented on saying how lovely it was and how it was a nice change from a traditional wedding ceremony.
We would highly recommend Paul!

Outstanding
A massive thank you to Paul. If you’re considering this guy you’re doing the right thing. Paul’s professionalism and his ability to have a giggle while getting to know why you’re doing what your doing is the best thing. Paul made out day run as smooth as possible, break when needed and pick it back up again in the best of timing. Paul wrote the script for me and Gavin like he’s know us for years and spoke about us from his heart. Thank you Paul for understanding who we are, what we’re about & your support in our English beach wedding based on family, togetherness & love. You helped more than you’ll ever know.
