Really can't recommend Penny enough. Right from the get go Penny really put us at ease and helped us create a ceremony that really represented us as a couple. She really took the time to get to know us and gave us so many options on ways to personalise the most important part of our day!

From the moment we first spoke to Penny via zoom we knew we wanted her to be our celebrant because she shared our excitement and dream. Throughout the process of preparing for the wedding ceremony she kept in touch and was very quick to respond to any queries. She took a huge amount of planning responsibilities off our backs and on the Day she was very flexible.
Penny delivered a moving , perfectly curated ceremony that all our guests loved.

Penny went above and beyond to ensure that our ceremony was perfect! We instantly felt relaxed in Penny’s presence, constantly offering support via zoom, email etc. We had so many comments on the wedding day saying how wonderful the ceremony was, unlike any they had been to before, how relaxed, humorous and loving it all was and so many people were just blown away by it, stating it was “the best ceremony we’ve ever been to”.

Penny included 2 lovely traditions within our ceremony which allowed us to include other people who may not have had “big roles” like groomsmen and bridesmaids. it was such a lovely touch and memories that will last forever.

We’d had our Indian religious ceremony two days before this ceremony. Therefore it was really important to us both that this ceremony was personalised and told our family and friends a little bit about us and our story so far as a couple.

When we met with Penny via a zoom call we both got along with her instantly and knew would be the one to conduct our ceremony. A couple more zoom calls and reassuring emails from Penny meant that she was able to capture our story as a couple so far along (as we wanted our guests to know us not just as individuals but as a couple) with the meaning of our union/marriage to us in a script which she wrote. She also incorporated our parents (important in Indian culture) and some of our traditions.

Penny was also a source of encouragement and guidance when it came to writing and delivering our vows which Karishma was particularly nervous about including on the day!

All of our family and friends told us it was such a beautiful ceremony and it was our pleasure to have Penny as our celebrant. She was an absolute professional and made the time to speak to us both before the ceremony. She also printed the vows and readings in advance and had these to hand (this is a huge help on the day itself!)

For those debating whether to have a registrar or a celebrant, if you want a personalised tailored ceremony then I would recommend Penny over a registrar (and it’s the cheaper option!) . Penny also only does one ceremony a day so you can book her and then build your order of the day/plan your timeline later in the planning process. We’d highly recommend her to brides and grooms and for vow renewal ceremonies

Penny , from the start of the whole process Penny was fantastic at explaining everything! She’s so good at what she does… she even got me to write my own vows (otherwise a certain impossibility)! I’m so glad she did this …as on the day , it went beyond what I expected ! So listen to her advice… it’ll give you the best possible experience!

We had Penny as our wedding celebrant on 28/07/24. Our ceremony was beautiful. Penny made it personal, romantic and meaningful all whilst making us feel relaxed and completely at ease.

Penny's help with our wedding was simply perfection. Her process in advance made everything very easy, and not rushed in any way which was very welcome. When we compared Penny's charge with other celebrants we found her to be charging at the lower end of the scale, and as such incredible value for money we'd say. She set a beautiful, welcome and warm tone for our small ceremony and the love story she crafted for us was funny, bright, entertaining and full of love. Furthermore, Penny seemed genuinely invested in us as a couple and playing her part in making sure the day was special. You'd be a fool to not ask Penny to be your celebrant, in my view.

Penny is just fantastic. I highly recommend her! She was fabulous from the first call, we had an instant connection. She is so friendly and calming. From our very first call, I knew Penny was the celebrant for us. Not only was she professional but she was warm, genuine and fun! From all our dealings, Penny was filled with excitement, ideas and we really felt that our day was truly special to her.
We gave Penny quite an unusual brief and regularly kept changing the goal posts but she never seemed to mind, she listened, suggested, wasn’t at all precious if there were ideas she gave that we didn’t feel were quite us, and we always felt she was really invested is us and our day.
I will forever be grateful for finding Penny, not just for the wonderful ceremony but also for her care, support and genuine interest is us and our day.
I actually feel quite sad that I don’t need to talk to Penny ever again……already asking the husband how he feels about wedding renewals 😂. If we do, Penny will be our first call
