  The perfect day

  From our first online meeting with Dave we knew he was the one. We really felt we clicked. The conversation flowed easily and we both felt at ease immediately. Dave was attentive and interested in us, our lives, and our big day. Dave was wonderful before, during and after our day. I have no doubt at all that, without Dave, our day would have been very different. We felt we were in safe hands and in terms of the ceremony, had nothing to worry about. When we read the script that Dave had written it actually made me cry as it was so touching. We had so many people comment on how wonderful our ceremony was and how much they enjoyed it. If you are considering booking Dave, I would urge you to stop considering and start booking.

  Dave was the best!

  Choosing Dave to be our celebrant was one of the best decisions we made for the day. We immediately knew we'd found "the one" when we came across his profile. He is full of life, happiness and love. He made our ceremony so special and so personal - everyone commented on how lovely and FUN it was. We loved having Dave be part of the day and couldn't recommend him highly enough.

  Excellent co-ordinator, manager of the day and MC

  We would highly recommend Dave for your MC needs. We hired him to MC our wedding and couldn't have asked for a better MC. Dave is organised knowing the schedule of the day inside and out. He went beyond making sure that as the bride he was there to take my prosecco and bouquet off me when needed. Above all that he is also kind, friendly and just a lovely person. Thank you again so much Dave! Steph and Nick x

  Magical Wedding

  We got married by Dave Octave - 27th July 2024 at Northbrook Park in Surrey. The warmth, energy he gave out was calming for us both. He represented us so well to our guests and kept everyone's spirits high. We couldn't have had anyone better for this role - to Dave, this isn't a job, it's a passionate hobby which he gives his all, from the first interview all the way through till " I now pronounce you husband and wife". Thank you Dave for making our day a magical experience.

  Dave Octave -Brilliant Celebrant

  When looking for a celebrant for our wedding we immediately knew Dave was the one from the initial zoom meeting. He is warm and charismatic and we liked that he bought a very personal touch to the ceremony by having us fill out a questionnaire each (separately from each other) about our relationship. He then used our answers to produce a script which we were able to review and amend. He also helped us with our vows and added a very touching naming ceremony for our baby son. On the day of the ceremony he really delivered a brilliant service. Our family and friends were so impressed and gave us such lovely compliments afterwards. Thank you Dave!

  Incredible ceremony, great energy

  Dave conducted our wedding ceremony and was also our MC for the day and was incredible. His energy really set the tone of the day which was vibrant, fun and uplifting. Our guests absolutely loved him!
  
  The ceremony itself was heartfelt and funny and he really captured and told our story perfectly. The first draft of the script was spot on, he really understood us as a couple. He also helped us write our own vows which seemed daunting at first. Absolutely loved working with Dave, our day wouldn't have been the same without him!

  We booked Dave Octave as the Celebrant for our wedding. Dave was extremely professional, helpful and makes what can be a very stressful time just bags of fun with his happy manner and great sense of humour, the latter being the main reason for picking him for our special day. Dave worked with us on calls and via e-mail prior to the big day to ensure everything was perfect, the service was amazing and many of the guests have since commented about how good Dave was.
  We would recommend Dave without hesitation if you need a Celebrant, you will not regret hiring him and you’ll be delighted with the service.
