Hannah, we were lucky enough to have been recommended you by our wedding venue after explaining that we were searching for a non-religious, intimate ceremony. We wanted it to be different and about us, after only ever going to traditional weddings in a place of worship.
We knew that we would have to do some ‘work’, however you made it enjoyable and exciting so it didn’t feel like work at all. The questions you asked were so in depth and captured so much. Hannah was one of the Humanist celebrants recommended by our wedding planner. We ended up doing weeks of research and after this we knew Hannah was offering the best service and had a personality we knew we’d get along with.
From the moment we met she put our nerves at ease almost immediately. It was evident she takes this job seriously but thoroughly enjoys the process of getting to know a couple's stories and history.

Hannah was our perfect match to write up and lead our humanist wedding celebration. We arranged our wedding in 12 weeks and to say it was stressful is an understatement. We couldn't have done it without Hannah's structure and organisation. She kept the ball rolling even when we felt like giving up.
She listened to exactly what we wanted and truly delivered. We wanted a celebration of our relationship and family and to also tell our story. She used our words by asking us all of the right questions and brought it all together in a beautiful and entertaining way.

Couldn’t have been more perfect!
We thought we had found a wonderful wedding Celebrant when we first met Hannah but she ended up being so much more. She shaped the most beautiful, memorable and personal celebration for us and had such wonderful presence on the day. Having Hannah was a huge highlight of our special day. We still reminisce about the ceremony Hannah created for us after 12 years and will still be doing so in another 12, I’m sure! We wholeheartedly recommend Hannah as the Celebrant who will make your day so much more meaningful than another ever could.

The most perfect and personal wedding celebration
Right from Paul proposing, we both knew we wanted a personal wedding which meant something to us, reflected our lives and values and represented us. Paul had been to a humanist ceremony in the past and was loved the personal and individual approach. So a humanist wedding was exactly what we wanted!
We spent a lot of time researching Humanist Celebrants, and came across Hannah on the Humanist website. After talking to her on the phone, it was clear Hannah was the Celebrant for us: she was as excited as we were about our engagement and wedding! She gave brilliant advice, without pressure or judgement, and was more than happy to calm any worries or concerns with a...Hannah Wroe Gill's reply:

Amazing Celebrant, highly recommend!
First of all we wanted to say thank you so much for organising and running the ceremony so brilliantly. It made our day that much more special.
So many people commented on how amazing the humanist ceremony was, so you may have some people contact you. Perhaps, when we have little ones of our own, we will be in touch about naming ceremonies!

Perfectly informal…
We wanted an informal, relaxed and intimate wedding, away from the usual norm.
Hannah came highly recommended by Richard at the Craven Arms and although it felt strange being so open with someone we didn’t know, in our first conversation Hannah couldn’t have made us feel more comfortable.
Her methods and techniques for putting our ceremony together worked really well and by the time it came to our rehearsal it felt like Hannah had known us for years.
On the big day there was lots of emotion and Hannah’s experience, calmness and total investment in our ceremony was obvious as she guided us through without a hitch.

A wonderful day
As you now know neither of us could be accused of being overly organised or particularly prompt – qualities which are pretty key when planning a wedding. However, with your help and guidance we are happy to say that our wedding day was an absolutely amazing success and ran so smoothly.
From your regular and kind messages helping us organise the ceremony to your indispensable help on the day managing people and ensuring things ran smoothly all the way through to the heartfelt ceremony you performed which left us caught somewhere between laughing and crying (we honestly didn’t stop smiling all evening!) you were absolutely indispensable.

Hannah is simply the best
It's been 8 years since Hannah helped us plan our perfect day. Friends still say our wedding was the best they've been to, including their own, haha!! And this certainly could not have been done without Hannah.
As childhood sweethearts we had so much we wanted to say to each other in front of our loved ones. Hannah magically crafted our words into a beautiful, unique ceremony, suiting our laid back and playful style as a couple. She's just incredible at what she does, making the entire process fun and exciting and as painless as possible. She helped make sure there wasn't a dry eye in the place. We felt soooo lucky we had found her!
