About
Welcome to Silver Hare Celebrations, home of an independent Lincolnshire celebrant. My name is Alison Darlington and if you are looking for a celebrant that is 100% in your corner; who will guide you through the whole process of creating your perfect ceremony; who will make you laugh and make you cry; who will listen to your story and leave guests saying WOW that was so you, then I’m your girl. According to my reviews I am fun, bubbly, caring, respectful, encouraging and helpful – but most of all, I am there for you whenever you need me. Life is extraordinary, and you are too, so don't settle for a less than extraordinary ceremony.
I have worked in PR, Marketing and Event Management; as a primary school Teaching Assistant with special needs children; and as an expedition team leader to remote locations around the world. I'm passionate about our planet; love Marvel films, my dogs and a Sunday roast; and really, really love creating ceremonies.
I decided to train to become a celebrant after attending a friend's wedding where I witnessed their most individual, magical ceremony. All of the fun and happiness on that day started with the ceremony. Heartfelt words, great music, romantic and humour-filled readings, a hand-fasting and spine-tingling vows. It was perfect, and I decided then and there that I wanted to be able to bring some of that magic to other people's weddings.
So I completed a Family Celebrant course with UKSOC (United Kingdom Society of Celebrants) and set up Silver Hare Celebrations. Now I can help you create the perfect ceremony to make your special day one to remember for the rest of your lives. Your day, your way is such a terrible cliché…but it really is your day and it needs to reflect the uniqueness of your personalities.
Whether you want the full service of a fully written ceremony delivered by myself, or just some guidance with your vows or other aspects of your ceremony, I am happy to help. An initial, informal chat is totally free of charge.
Silver Hare Celebrations also deliver renewal of vows, naming ceremonies, divorce ceremonies, family blendings, anniversary and engagement ceremonies...in fact any special cermony you are wanting to hold.
