Stephanie was the best. She gets you thinking about all the right things prior to your big day. If you have firm ideas about all of it or certain aspects she actions them to ensure they happen, smoothly and calmly, on the day. If you have half ideas or are a bit lost about aspects of your big day she is great at talking it though and getting from you what she needs to formulate your ideas into a coherent and thoughtful plan. She is a communications professional and while there is nothing corporate about what she does, (our experience was always personal and bespoke) this back ground makes Stephanie extremely effective and reassuring. I was a little unsure about our actual ceremony prior to meeting Stephanie and after discussing it with her, it all fell into place. In addition there were nice touches and flourishes that made the day special. We were congratulated by all our friends and family on the loveliness of our ceremony and what's more, with Stephanie on board we didn't have to worry about or instigate any of it. If we had to do it all again Stephanie would be top of our list.

Stephanie was one the best decisions we made about our wedding day. From the initial planning meeting, through to meeting Stephanie in person, to talking through the ceremony right to our big day, we had multiple meetings where Stephanie really took the time to get to know us and all about our story and that’s all we really wanted from a humanist ceremony. We wanted someone who knew all about us and could really express that to our friends and family, and Stephanie did that in such a beautiful and emotional way, it really brought a unique atmosphere to our ceremony. We received so many wonderful remarks and comments about how amazing Stephanie was afterwards and I’m so glad we took the time to research and find someone as good as Stephanie to lead our ceremony! We chose Stephanie for our older son's naming ceremony 2 years ago, and absolutely loved the entire experience, so when we decided to get married this year, it was absolutely no question who we would ask to lead our ceremony!

Stephanie performed our wedding ceremony in early January 2020. She was fantastic from start to finish. We spent weeks trying to find the right celebrant and once we had spoken to Stephanie we knew she was the one for us. We met for an initial chat to talk about our relationship and how we wanted our ceremony to be. A couple of weeks later Stephanie returned a beautiful draft script which we then worked on together to get it just right – it was a really special process.

On the day Stephanie was calm and organised and made sure everything ran without a hitch, having answered countless questions from us and readers along the way. It was a magical ceremony which brought a tear to everyone’s eye and so many of our guests commented on how personal it was – exactly what we’d wanted to achieve. On our first meeting with Stephanie, we immediately felt at ease and completely confident that she would be able to craft and lead our humanist ceremony. She helped us establish what was important to us as a couple by asking questions we hadn’t thought to ask ourselves. It was a pleasure entrusting our ceremony at the capable hands of Stephanie Forster. She was extremely supportive in our bid to have a warm and intimate feel to our wedding. Stephanie incorporated beautifully and comprehensively the Bulgarian traditions that we chose to share with our guests. This was very important to us as our families come from different cultures. She made everyone feel involved and engaged with the ceremony, and we received compliments from many of our guests. We would thoroughly recommend her!

We had the best day on 14th July! We were obviously very concerned that the day went well for our children and parents (having already been officially married on our own in Las Vegas) but had comparatively few expectations for ourselves! However, we felt the proceedings were the perfect blend of emotion and ceremony. You managed to capture the essence of our relationship and our journey in just a few conversations, in person but mainly online as we live in NYC. I was particularly impressed that our coffee meeting translated so faithfully into the story which you eventually used in the ceremony. It needed very few tweaks! Our vows and secret words, plus additional “standard” exchanges which we were able to choose, made it very much about us as a couple.

Although the four children were initially sceptical about the “tying the knot” part of the ceremony, they enjoyed being such an integral part of the day and were moved by its symbolic nature. A little bit of magic thrown in for the other guests too!
