Hello, I’m Suzanne, an accredited professional wedding celebrant, living in Skipton, North Yorkshire. I primarily work across the red and white roses of Yorkshire and Lancashire, but I am happy to travel further afield.

I am delighted at the prospect of working with you to create the wedding of your dreams. I’m really looking forward to hearing your love story, and helping you transpose your feelings for each other, and your wishes for your lives to come, into a service that reflects you two and nobody else.

I love literature, nature and tradition and, if this is your vibe, I can weave elements of these passions into your ceremony. I have lots of ideas to share with you, although I am more than happy to follow your lead (remember, there are no rules in a celebrant led ceremony!).

Are you going to include a ring blessing or a hand fasting? What about a quaich ceremony? Have you thought about a sand-blending to include your children? There’s so much for us to talk about!

I have worked as an English teacher in Further Education; a learning facilitator at the Bronte Parsonage Museum, and lead front of house at the Ilkley Literature Festival. I have also travelled extensively and embraced the customs and cultures I encountered around the world. I hope I can bring something special to your perfect day!
