I had the best experience shopping for a wedding dress at 'I do' Frocks! I was so, so nervous beforehand. As a plus-size bride, I was worried I wouldn't find anything that would give me that feeling all us girls dream about, and so the plan was to try everything and anything. Sophie was absolutely fine with me being indecisive and anything I asked was no trouble at all. Sophie suggested a dress which I hadn't considered, and it turned out to be the one! Sophie then let me return at a later date for a visit with my bridesmaids, just so they could see the dress as well. Not once did I feel like a burden or like I was being difficult. Sophie is an absolutely queen and has such a huge amount of knowledge and experience to give you all the help you could want or need. I could not recommend this place more!

My sister got her wedding dress from VEB a few years back and had the best experience so I knew this was where I wanted to go ! Amy was my stylist and couldn’t have been more helpful, she took all of my wants and needs in and helped me find my dream dress. I was made to feel special and I had the best experience. I would recommend everyone to go to VEB to find their wedding dress, you won’t be disappointed.

I can’t thank the team enough! My dress is absolutely stunning and the fact that they have an in house seamstress was incredible!

Mandy is amazing! My dress wasn't perhaps the easiest to alter but she did an amazing job on mine and the bridesmaids dresses. Mandy made me feel relaxed about the fittings and I knew I was in safe hands. Highly recommended.

I booked an appointment at the Briderie after seeing they stocked the Unbridled collection. I had been searching for bridal separates for ages and had tried on hundreds of styles and just couldn't find what I was looking for. I was starting to lose hope! As soon as I met Fiona, I felt completely at ease. Her bridal shop is so lovely and the bridal gowns, separates and accessories are beautiful. I had already purchased a slip dress and was looking for pieces to go with it. Fiona was more than happy to let me try on pieces with the dress I had (a lot of designers I went to wouldn't allow this). Overall, it was a really personalised experience and I found exactly what I was looking for. Would highly recommend Fiona - the best experience I had (my mum agrees too!).

We created my perfect dress using a blend of 3 different dresses (neckline of one, pattern of another, and skirt of another!) for such a good price compared to other local shops. The service I had from the second I arrived at my first appointment to collecting the dress was fantastic. The alterations were done well and we're really reasonably priced. I really really recommend using Velvet Birdcage! 😍😍

Thank you to Charlotte and Ann for making choosing my dress so incredibly special. It's clear how much they both care so deeply about what they do, and making sure everyone who comes in to choose their dress has the most wonderful experience. They are both incredibly knowledgeable, kind, funny and supportive. During my appointment, Charlotte and Ann made us feel welcome and comfortable, it felt like shopping with lifelong friends. They were so helpful, and my time dress shopping is one I will cherish especially as my nana was able to join virtually from hospital. They helped recommend a local seamstress, and offered invaluable advice. I spent my wedding day feeling so beautiful and so happy after their help picking the perfect dress. Thank you both so much, you are amazing!

Had such a lovely experience getting my wedding dress with Proposals. Aileen was so good at listening and picking out options in line with what I liked/didn’t like, and at making suggestions for accessories to finish off the look. I really valued her opinion and she gave some great advice on where to go for alterations. Really appreciated how they kept my dress safe in the shop and steamed it ahead of the big day. All in all the ideal service you could want, would 100% recommend!

First shop I went to find my dream wedding dress - and I found it! The staff were so helpful, one lady in particular (I think she's the owner?) really made the experience - she was interested, helpful, friendly and chatty. Seamstress did an excellent job adjusting my dress and gave me tips for wearing the dress on the day.

My dress was perfect for our special day!! There was a wide selection to choose from…all lovely dresses! Boutique is beautiful, you have your own private changing suite and one to one service and a glass of bubbles! There’s a lot of choice out there and having an experienced bridal consultant to advise and gently guide you in the right direction is priceless!! 🥰
