Kay arrives at the party dressed in full 18th century period costume complete with boots, a book of poems, quill, and, of course, a rose for the happy couple. After engaging delightfully with guests, Kay asks the couple to hold hands, delightfully reciting verse with their names inserted for an intimate, specialised feel. In the end, he cites perhaps the most famous Burns poem, "My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose," a romantic, beautiful end before he wishes the wedding party farewell.
