Based in Essex, England, Kirstybowks Bespokes Live Drawing is an illustrator providing real-time entertainment at weddings and other special events. Owner Kirsty strives to create unique keepsakes that will forever capture the magic of each couple's special day.
Services Offered
This talented artist sketches live during the wedding celebrations, documenting the big emotions as well as the day's quiet, intimate moments. These beautiful illustrations add something unique and lovely to the record of each client's milestone day. Kirstybowks Bespokes has three illustration packages that feature between 2 and a half hours and 8 hours of coverage. Kirsty usually draws during the drinks reception, capturing some of the fun and spark of the day in her trademark playful style. Once the celebrations have come to a close, newlyweds can send Kirsty a copy of their favourite wedding photo. The artist will transform the snapshot into a beautiful illustration of their love.

What is included in the wedding package?

How far in advance should I contact you?
I get booked up well in advance so the earlier you book the better chance of availability (especially weekend weddings). Secure your booking today for a small deposit of £50
What other services to you provide?
Other (Additional hours added to base package priced at £100 per hour.
Will travel further than Essex but travel surcharges apply and will be quoted at time of booking)
Are you able to travel?
Yes, i cover all of Essex without a travel charge. Other areas are subject to a travel surcharge
Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, the charge depends on the distance and will be included in your personal quotation at time of booking
Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
No
How long is the act?
Intimate Package is 2.5hrs of live drawing.
Wedding Bell Package is 4hrs of live drawing.
Additional hours can be added at £100 per extra hour
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
Set up consists of introductions to your guests to take photos so that I can create the illustrations while your guests continue enjoying the event (they don't have to sit and pose)

Absolutely amazing
Kirsty is absolutely amazing, such a great addition to our wedding. From the start, Kirsty was so helpful and friendly and very quick at responding to messages. Her drawings are so unique and such a great wedding favour to all our guest. We can't thank you enough for your kindness and talent.

Guests absolutely loved this wedding favour!
Lucy was very professional and friendly from the offset. We were both very excited to see the outcome of her work after the wedding and cannot wait to receive our drawing (once we receive our professional photos!). Now our guests have a very special momento that they can hang onto for years to come. My MIL is in a wheelchair and Lucy drew her standing which she absolutely loved and was very touching. Thank you Lucy!

Unbelievable

Just do it!
The guests at our wedding LOVED Kirsty's illustrations, it such a good little favour! Everyone was walking arund with them all day showing each other and I'm so glad they get a little keepsake of the day. If you're thinking about doing it, just do it. Honestly, best thing we did!

Such an amazing extra to our wedding day!
Kirsty was amazing from start to finish! On the day the drawings were absolutely amazing and everyone loved them. It was a really lovely extra touch to the wedding day and it meant our guests had something lovely to keep too. I would highly recommend! X

Incredible sketches loved by our guests and Kirsty is amazing!
We cannot recommend or thank Kirsty enough for her kindness and talent at our recent wedding. Our guests (and us!) were blown away by her sketches and they made such amazing wedding favours as they add such a lovely personalised touch. (so they're favours guests actually want!!) Kirsty is so friendly and kind, interacted well with us in the lead up to the wedding, meeting to discuss what we'd like her to do and also interacted amazingly with our guests on the day - letting them know what she was doing etc. She is incredibly talented and we cannot recommend her enough, thank you so much Kirsty for making our day so special.

So glad we booked kirsty!
Kirsty was amazing from start to finish. She was so friendly and helpful. She took photo and mingled with guests before out ceremony and then began drawing so when we came out of the ceremony and when into drinks reception she had already completed some and was drawing away! She managed to get so many done and everyone absolutely LOVED them! The perfect combo of entertainment and wedding favour for guests.
I have also commissioned Kirsty for some additional drawings of me and my bridal party which she was happy to do for me.
She is such a gem and if you are thinking of booking go for it... you won't regret it!

Just amazing!
We hired Kirsty for our wedding in Essex in October and we were so excited as we loved her illustration style! She was so professional and responsive right from the beginning. On the day she was the talk of the wedding! Everyone loved their illustrations and also commented on how lovely and friendly Kirsty is :)

Absolutely amazing!
Kirsty was at our wedding in July and was absolutely fantastic. She is so lovely, friendly and super easy to work with. Our guests absolutely loved their illustrations and we cannot wait for our detailed one to come through. She travelled all the way down to Wolverhampton from Essex to work with us. Absolutely could not recommend her enough ❤️

The most amazing experience!

A huge hit!
We done the wedding bell package and then opted to add 2 more hours on. Kirsty was Fantastic! It was such a cool thing to have going on so many people commented on it. We had some guests who dont normally have photos taken so this was great for them too. What ive also found amazing is that for something 'simple' Kirsty managed to capture personalities and the people. We could tell who everyone was. Excellent value for money and highly recommend by us. We also had a drawing of our venue done before the wedding. Kirsty made everything seem effortless (which is a real testiment to her talent as they really arnt). She is also a wonderful and kind person who was lovely to have at our wedding.

Beautiful illustrations that our guests loved!
Kirsty is amazing! We hired her to draw live illustrations of our guests at our drinks reception and everyone loved it. Something they had never seen before at a wedding and it gave them a memento to take home and keep forever. We had such lovely feedback from our guests about Kirsty and I'm so glad we hired her for our wedding. The drawings are all amazing and I love the style and likeness to our guests. Super friendly and efficient
Kirsty was organised, efficient and kept us well informed for the day. Her art work was admired by our guests and all who had their portraits drawn were very happy.
