Services offered

With close up magic using coins, cards and other small objects, your guests will be delighted by these interactive entertainment performances. Nigel may move throughout the room, performing tricks from table to table or he may operate in a 'mix and mingle' format.

For smaller weddings Nigel can perform for up to 2 hours, while larger weddings can have up to 3 hours of performances. This one-of-a-kind entertainment not only provides your guests with a unique form of fun, but can also serve as a well-timed break in the wedding agenda.

What is included in the wedding package?

Specifically Close-up Magic performed in a "Table Hopping" and/or "Mix and Mingle" format. I primarily perform for adults although do occasionally perform for children at wedding receptions

How far in advance should I contact you?

As soon as you have a date set contact me to check my availability to avoid disappointment. Most wedding customers want my services on the same 12 Saturdays over the summer period

What other services to you provide?

Other (Corporate Events Such as Banquets, Balls and Charity Fund Risers. Hotel and Restaurant Magic Trade Show Magic - Acting as a "Traffic Stopper" "Crowd Builder" and "Ice Breaker" at Exhibition Centre)

Are you able to travel?

Yes, nationwide and abroad

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, free within 100 mile radius. Beyond that £20 to £50 additional charge depending how far within UK. Abroad reflects the price of the transport at standard class

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, i bring all my own materials. I prefer where possible to work indoors due specifically to the issue of wind. No good doing a card trick only to have the cards blow away mid trick

How long is the act?

I usually perform for 2 hours at small weddings with limited guests or at least 3 hours for normal weddings of 100 guests+

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

I usually require about 7 minutes to load my pockets up with my props

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

Do you do open-air acts?

How do you charge extra time?

I am pretty flexible but something like £60 per hour

What are the forms of payment?

Cash on the day/night, Cheque on the day/night. I don't really bother with deposits any more as I very rarely get cancellations. Certainly not enough to justify the extra paperwork
