I’m Alexandra, the person behind the page, and I’m a live illustrator based in the UK.

Live illustration is such a unique and interactive form of entertainment - perfect for weddings and events, giving guests the opportunity to take a part of the special day home with them as a memory they can keep forever.

I also offer bespoke portrait illustrations and place cards, perfect as gifts or wedding stationery.

I can’t wait to be part of your special day. I am open for 2024 and 2025 bookings.

Services and Packages

Live illustration:

Choose from a selection of illustration packages that would best suit your big day.

Bronze - 3 hours of live illustration - approximately 20 guests will be sketched.

Silver - 5 hours of live illustration - approximately 35 guests will be sketched. This package also includes an A5 sketch of the wedding cake completed after the wedding.

Gold - 7 hours of live illustration - approximately 50 guests will be sketched. This package also includes an A5 sketch of the wedding cake and an A5 venue illustration completed after the wedding.

Platinum - 8 hours of live illustration - approximately 55 guests will be sketched. This package also includes an A5 sketch of the wedding cake, an A5 venue illustration and an A4 full-body wedding couple portrait, all to be completed after the wedding. This package also includes sketching of an additional 30 guests after the wedding.

There is also a choice between full-body illustrations or portrait style - there is no difference in price between these.

Please note the gold and platinum packages include a 30-minute lunch break.

Place cards:

Personalised place cards are the perfect touch to your big day. The portrait-style sketches are a great way to show guests the seating arrangements.

Prices of place cards vary on the amount of guests. Please note that a minimum of 10 place cards are required per order.

How does live illustration work?

After choosing a package that suits you, I will arrive at the venue 30-45 minutes early to prepare. Once guests start to arrive, I will begin to take photographs of couples and small groups and then begin sketching. Understandably, this will be a super busy day for the bride and groom, so whenever they have a spare moment, I will pop over to take a picture and sketch.

Guests can pop back over throughout the day to collect their illustrations or even if they wish to watch the illustration live in action.

All illustrations will be displayed and given to the guests in protective sleeves for safekeeping.

Any illustrations that are not completed on the big day will be completed a few days later in the studio and posted back to the bride and groom for distribution.
