My husband and I recently worked with Ed and Oya to choreograph our first dance and could not rate them more highly. I contacted Oya about five weeks from our wedding date, when we started to get nervous about our first dance, and she was able to quickly find five hours of classes available over the next four weeks to give us time to learn and practice. They were both so enthusiastic and professional, creating the choreography with us rather than giving us a pre-construcuted routine so that it really felt personal and unique to us. They were also so encouraging to try new things, even when we were nervous about trying them! I enjoyed the classes so much and it was such a shame for them to end

Oya and Ed were amazing all through our collaboration. Very kind, patient and positive. We loved our lessons and look forward to go to the couple sessions when they start. We particularly enjoyed how much energy they both brought challenging us to do more but in a way that made us both very comfortable. They are clearly amazing dancers and highly experienced teachers. Going with Captiv8 was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding process. Oya and Ed are incredibly experienced dancers who will simplify and make it easy for even the most extreme of a novice (like me!). No previous dance experience required as they will take it right from the beginning with you and work with you at a speed you’re comfortable with. Most importantly they understand that wedding planning is stressful and work flexibly with you on your dance to suit your needs. They’re also extremely nice people and put you at ease throughout. Oya and Ed are fantastic teachers who taught us our first dance. They were very patient and created for us a unique choreography that was adjusted to our personal needs and preferences. They are also very flexible in terms of time slots and very easy to communicate. They explain and show everything very clearly. Our guests were absolutely amazed by our dance. Everything went well as we were so well prepared! Highly recommended. The best first dance teachers in the UK!

We hired Oya and Ed to help us learn to dance/create a choreographed routine for our wedding day. They were so delightful from the start and really passionate about dancing. They're also hilarious and such good fun. My husband and I looked forward to every dance session, even if the idea of the first dance absolutely terrified us!

Oya and Ed constantly checked in with us on how we were feeling about the choreography and made sure we felt comfortable (i.e., no dance moves we felt silly performing in front of our loved ones!). They were also incredibly thorough - they asked about my dress and how I could move in it, whether we were having a live band or playing a recorded version of the song - details we never thought about but it made all the difference on the day.

We received so many compliments on our first dance - everyone loved it. My parents said that it was their second favourite memory of the day (after seeing me dressed as a bride!) - it was all down to Oya and Ed!

Dance lessons turned out to be our favourite part of wedding planning! And that's largely because Ed & Oya are such great teachers, and they keep it fun the whole time you are learning! We are so happy with the routine they put together for us! We were very useless dancers to begin with, but after five lessons, we had an amazing routine which also included and some dips and 2 lifts!! Something I thought I'd be no chance at!
I can't recommend enough doing some dance lessons for your first wedding dance, and Ed & Oya are without question, the best people to use! Thank you both so much!

If you want to learn how to dance or learn an amazing routine Captiv8 Dance is the place to do it. They taught us our first wedding dance which was so fun learn with them, lots of humor and laughter during the leassons. The teachers are amazing and made moves that looked impossible so easy to learn. If you dont like a move they will come up with another in a second.

I would highly recommend them for any dance or routine you would like to learn !

We are having private classes for our first dance with Oya and Ed. Despite having no rhythm and both of us having 4 left feet, we can honestly say that after the third class we no longer look like drunk robots and can probably hold our own during a social dance. These two are amazing, their lighthearted approch make it so much fun and easy to learn how to dance.

Oya and Ed are amazing dancing 💃🏻 🕺🏻 teachers. They very quickly taught as the basic principles of dancing and created a choreography for the song we wanted . This was tailored on us. I did not expect that we would learn to dance so nicely in a short time. And most importantly we enjoyed every minute of it! We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day even more special and we can’t wait to learn more ! It was just the begging !

We took wedding dance classes with Oya and Ed for our wedding in October this year. Oya and Ed were fantastic: neither me or my fiance had any prior dancing experience but Oya & Ed instantly put us at ease and patiently & encouragingly led us through the choreography of our first dance, whilst always making sure we like their suggested moves and are comfortable with them. While I was very nervous leading up to the big day & dance, their words of encouragement & advise really helped us through the training and nerves. Also our song choice was quite unusual (melodic metal ballad) and not your typical first dance song, but they managed to create us a stunning choreo that fit the song perfectly. In the end we managed to have a beautiful first dance which got tons of praise and tears from our audience and turns out to be one of the many highlights of our day.

Ed and Oya were absolutely brilliant teachers! We enjoyed the classes so so much and would definitely recommend them to everyone! Not only it’s amazing to have a great memory of the wedding dance, but also it’s such an awesome experience! They made us feel at ease and we had so much fun in every class!
