FL.owl studio is a creative floral design studio run by Ellen in South East London.

Ellen loves designing & creating beautiful wild florals inspired by nature and seasonal flowers, always trying to use as many locally grown flowers as possible.

Having spent several years freelancing for other floral brands, Ellen has plenty of experience creating anything from delicate intricate arrangements to large scale, unique instalations.

Ellen is extremely passionate about her work & loves nothing more than bringing peoples floral dreams to life!

Services Offered

Whatever the size of your wedding or budget we can design & create something unique for your day.

An initial consultation with Ellen will allow us to learn about your wedding and what arrangements you envision. From romantic centrepieces to wild aisle meadows, you can discuss all your ideas for your dream florals. We can help with guidance on colours & what flowers are best in your chosen season.

Ellen tries to create florals with as little impact to the environment as possible. No floral foam is used & always sourcing as many loally grown, in season flowers & foliage as possible.

All flowers will be personally delivered to your venue & set up to flawlessly compliment your chosen setting.

What is included in the wedding package?

Together we can discuss the floral styling for your wedding & what elements you'd like to include. I can then take care of everything from initial design right through to making & delivery/set up

How far in advance should I contact you?

Ideally at least 3 months in advance but the earlier the better! This ensures I can hold the date for you & gives us plenty of time to discuss your dream florals!

Do you design personalised bridal bouquets?

Yes

Can you travel?

Yes, i'm based in South East London but will travel depending on the overall spend

Is there a charge for traveling?

Yes, this is dependent on the location of your wedding

What is the charge for national mailing?

This isn't an option. All flowers need to be delivered in person, nothing will be sent via post/courier

Do you have an advice service?

Yes

Does the advice service have a surcharge?

No

Operating hours:

I'm self employed so don't have specific hours. I will always try to respond to enquiries within 24hrs

Colourful Festival Flowers

The flower arrangements Ellen created for our wedding were magical. She made a horseshoe of flowers for the ceremony that made us feel like we were standing in a meadow. Ellen chose the perfect flowers for the festival theme of our wedding. She also made a flower crown for me, which was just what I wanted: bright but not too big. I can't recommend Ellen's services enough. We loved our flowers.

Inventive florist for bespoke sustainable flower arrangements

Ellen has been a pleasure to work with and designed such lovely flower arrangements for us. She worked to our budget and created amazing buttonholes, bud vases and bridal bouquet, accommodating our theme and special species requests. Ellen listens and comes back with ideas to make the most of the budget, and she created for us colourful arrangements that all our guests loved. The flowers all looked stunning on our pictures. Her compositions were full of dynamism and contrast as per our brief, with wildflower species that Ellen sourced from local growers. We’re really happy we have found her and highly recommend her. Thanks again Ellen for creating such beautiful bouquets!

Beautiful flowers for my wedding

I hired Ellen for my wedding in central London for the church flowers, and was so so pleased with the outcome. The flowers looked even better than the inspo I looked for on Pinterest. In the lead up to the wedding I had calls with Ellen to share my preferences, and she was very knowledgable about various types of flowers and when they were in season etc. Ellen was also friendly and professional and ensured I was happy with everything. I will definitely be recommending Ellen to all my friends and family!

Stunning flowers by the loveliest florist!

Ellen created the bouquets, buttonholes, mantelpiece and staircase installation for our wedding at Brunswick House in London in December. Ellen’s suggestions really helped bring the winter wedding look to life. She created a stunning cohesive look and all the guests commented on how incredible our flowers were. We couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. Ellen was exceptional and you will not be disappointed if you book her!

💐 Perfect wedding flowers

Ellen went over and above to make our day stress-free and extra beautiful.
Her experience shone through from helping us decide on general style, to specific flowers and arrangements.
She even made sure to source seasonal flowers grown locally to where we live now, and where we grew up - a really lovely touch.
On the day, Ellen was prompt and we felt we could completely trust her to cover everything - amazing to have one less thing to think about!
Ellen set up everything with ample time, and we received glowing feedback from the venue about the way she works and our guests wouldn't stop telling us how amazing she made the space look - the flower arrangements, bouquets and buttonholes did incredible throughout the full day.
We were over the moon with everything and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone as their wedding florist.

The flowers of our dreams

I can't express how thankful we are to FL.owl for the most beautiful flowers we had for our wedding. Communication in the lead up to our day was exceptional and meant we were able to plan exactly what we wanted, and logistics went so smoothly. My vision truly came to life, and the look was everything we wanted and more. So many of my guests were captivated by the flowers and said how special they were, and how they were very 'me'! A million thank yous!

Ellen was fantastic and the flowers were stunning!

Ellen was fantastic and I would highly recommend her. She was responsive and always ready to help from the initial consultation right up until the wedding day; this helped put me at ease during a stressful time. I had a rough idea of my colour scheme and my budget, then let Ellen do the rest and WOW! My flowers on the day were absolutely stunning and I had so many compliments from my guests. It was an absolute pleasure working with Ellen and she would always answer any questions that I had or for me to bounce ideas off of her. I am so pleased I chose Ellen and would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding.

Stunning flowers!

The flowers were so stunningly beautiful - a real work of art which made our wedding venue look absolutely magical. Ellen put so much thought and care into every element of the decoration (beautiful pops of colour, lots of texture and variation that worked together so cohesively). Above all, my bridal bouquet was an absolute masterpiece - I have honestly never seen anything like it and so many of our guests gushed over it (and asked who our florist was). Thank you so much, Ellen, we can't recommend you more highly!

Amazing personalised floristry
