Florio is a Great Dunmow, Essex-based wedding flower company that provides a bespoke service with the aim of designing stunning and meaningful flower arrangements that reflect the love story of each wedding client. We use the language of flowers, called Floriography to carefully choose flowers based on their symbolism, ensuring they resonate with the couple.

Gemma at Florio has the expertise to elevate your celebration and add a special charm to your wedding decor. She can create various floral arrangements, such as bouquets, floral installations, table centre arrangements and boutonnieres. Florio also offers a list of fresh blooms for your one-of-a-kind display. Our style is flowing and natural with a hint of modernity, we love a bright colour scheme but are just as much a fan of a muted blush style scheme also.

The booking process

The journey with us starts with the initial enquiry when clients tell us all about their hopes and dreams for the look and feel of the flowers for the day. Unlike a conventional florist, we really want to get to know our couples so that we are able to authentically weave their story into the designs we create, so we include questions that you may not normally see on an enquiry form to really get to know our couples.

From there we gather together ideas and imagery to present in a face to face consultation. We like to meet in person so we can get to know the couple in depth and hear their story (this can be online if required, but we much prefer to meet face to face so you can get a feel for if we are the right floral designer for you).

From the inspirations gathered within the meeting, we will work on the designs and select flowers that reflect the couples passions to tell their story and provide a quotation within 14 days. This may be longer than other quotations as there is a lot of thought and detail that goes into its creation.
