We got married last Saturday (26.10.24) and cannot recommend Lilac and Barrow Flowers enough! We had a smaller, more informal wedding but Jools was happy to work with the things we wanted and understood exactly what we wanted with only a few inspo pictures. One of the things we loved the most about our wedding was working with small businesses run by amazing people. The people you choose for various parts of your wedding play a big part in your wedding day and working with wonderful, kind people like Jools is the best thing you can do to enjoy your day! The beauty of her flowers speak for themselves, but I believe it’s people who make their businesses and Jools shines through with her kindness and her flowers!

We could not recommend Jools from Lilac and Barrow flowers more... she truly transformed our wedding into the most gorgeous (and yummy smelling) event of the decade.
Jools was so welcoming for us to come and look around her homegrown flowers, and great with making it exciting for our flower girl too.
We didn't have much clue about floristry but Jools helped us fall in love with flowers - the beautiful variety she found for our autumnal wedding were mind blowing.
Jools decorated the whole ceremony and reception venue, and did our bouquets, button holes and wrist corsages - they were all perfect; and tied the whole day together in the most stunning way.
Highly recommend for all weddings / events.

Julie did the flowers for our wedding and she went above and beyond our expectations. The flowers themselves were stunningly beautiful and it felt great because we knew they had all been grown sustainably on her farm. Julie worked so hard the day before our wedding ensuring they were all perfect and they absolutely were, nothing seemed like too much trouble! Lots of guests said how amazing the flowers were too! I had my hen do on Julie's farm as well which was such a great experience with all my closest relatives and friends making flower crowns and hair pieces from dried flowers for the big day. It was such a fun and wholesome way to spend the day. Highly recommend if you want beautiful, sustainable flowers for your big day!

I can’t recommend Jools enough! She is very friendly, attentive and passionate - she cares about the flowers and about the service she’s providing.

Her flower farm is absolutely gorgeous too and I was able to go around it the summer prior to my wedding so I could pick out some of my faves to have in my bouquet which was a lovely touch! She also planted more of the flowers I liked at the start of the year so that there would be plenty of them on the day.

She was good at providing advice with how we could re-use the flowers and transport them from the church to the reception. I had mentioned I wanted to dry my bouquet too and so she added in some flowers which she knows dry well which was very thoughtful.

Jools is a lovely and devoted wedding florist that made our wedding day look and feel wonderful. Our wedding was inside a walled garden with a huge tipi and we requested a mix of blue, lilac, pink, peach and white flowers of the season to go with our theme and matched the groomsmen and bridesmaids perfectly. We were able to visit Jool’s flower farm a year before our big day to understand what would be available and it was such a magical experience being able to pick out your flowers in real life before the day itself. On the day our flowers looked absolutely flawless, we had meadow sprays at the end of the aisle and in front of the top table, as well as little potted flowers on the tables -it looked so dreamy and gorgeous! I’ve recommended Jools to so many people now and two of closest friends have used her for their weddings which has been so lovely!

The flowers Jools put together for our wedding were gorgeous and added a lovely wildflower/English garden feel to our day. We had been speaking to another florist before meeting Jools but we didn’t feel the kind of passion with that florist that we found with Jools. A lot of the flowers I liked were Spring flowers but we were getting married in August, Jools kindly offered alternatives that were similar to the flowers I wanted. We met with Jools and she had put together a mock up bud vase with colours and flowers we had discussed, and she had nailed it in the first go. When she delivered the flowers on our day, bouquets and bud vases for the tables, despite already being amazed by the example flowers, we were blown away on our big day to see everything in place and how well the flowers were incorporated.
I have pressed and dried my bouquet to try and preserve it for longer, I loved them that much. Jools’ passion and flair comes across in the way she speaks about her work and we found this to be such a valuable quality.
I recommend Lilac and Barrow to anyone who wants someone with the passion to match their talent, you will 100% find this in Jools.

I asked if Julie could do me Cala Lillies for my wedding + 5 bridesmaids and a male of honour. The flowers were so beautiful I had so many lovely comments. Julie always got back to me quickly and arrived to the room at the venue on the morning of making everything so easy. I added an extra bouquet on last minute and Julie was able to accommodate this. From the moment I spoke to Jools I knew I had found my florist for the wedding. She was by far my favourite supplier and the element of the wedding I was most looking forward to seeing the final product. We worked wonderfully together and I could not recommend her more highly. Stop looking and booked her, you will not be disappointed.

Jools is warm and welcoming and from the beginning she listened to my ideas, she understood my theme and what I wanted and we talked through options and colour schemes. She also helped me in so many ways with the wedding, not just with the flowers and she was just amazing all the way through.

She kept in regular contact over the months, was happy for me to bombard her with photos and ideas, and quite frankly has the patience of a saint as I kept adding extra bits to the list. Jools was so accommodating and helped me organise with extra bouquets for gifts and extra last minute corsages, nothing was too much trouble and she is such a lovely soul.

Jools was so on point with bringing my ideas to life, she completely embodied my vision with her flowers and we could not have been happier with the final wedding flowers. She absolutely nailed it! They were just outstanding, truly beautiful and elegant and more than I could have ever asked for. I told her my vision and I trusted her implicitly to deliver and my word she did.
