Cannot recommend Olivia enough! From the very first call to get a quote, it was so clear how much passion Olivia has for flowers and helping us to create our big day. Throughout the planning process, Olivia was open to our ideas and also suggested some fab ideas too. Her communication throughout was also so quick and we never felt like we were being annoying! On the day, we honestly cannot thank Olivia enough for creating and going above our expectations and our visions. The flowers were beautiful and really boosted the venue. She managed to repurpose a lot of the ceremony flowers for throughout the day which we loved. We gave Olivia free rein for table decorations and arrangements and she did not dissapoint, each table was so delicate and matched our vision perfectly. And the top table was just incredible! So many people commented throughout the day on how beautiful the flowers were! And guests the next morning loved taking home some small bouquets Olivia made up that morning of leftover flowers to save waste.

I got married on the 20th July, and Olivia was great. If I’m honest, I had some crazy quotes for what I had been looking for but Olivia was super. She called me, took into consideration what I wanted and gave her advice.

I said, a single bouquet of flowers, bright colours and a black ribbon to hold them in place and she delivered.

I was able to collect from her home, which was helpful. The flowers were arranged beautifully and they were better than I imagined!

The flowers were fresh, in good condition and well presented. I’d chose Olivia to do my flowers again and again!

Planning a wedding was probably one of the most stressful things Paul and I have ever done. Flowers definitely came as one of our top priorities, but where to start - with the best florist of course! Enter Olivia @The Surrey Florist, who appeared on our radar as a recommendation from a friend. He said you guys will make lots of decisions when planning your wedding and choosing Olivia to be your florist will be the best decision you will ever make – and he was right.
It all started as a mood board presentation and a zoom call with Olivia. Olivia listened patiently as I excitedly took her through our thoughts, ideas and colour scheme. Our venue was unique as we would get married outside and have our wedding breakfast indoors so the flowers would need to have a huge impact in a large space and be easily transferred into the indoor space.
After talking for over an hour I could see Olivias passion for what she does and knew from our very first meeting that this was indeed a great match. Olivia was keen to understand our venue so we sent her lots of pictures ( and measurements) of the venue and as much as I had my ideas I knew that Olivias experience and expertise would help elevate these ideas.
A few weeks later Olivia came back with her proposal and broke this down into really clear stories and we were absolutely blown away how she brought our ideas to life. Olivia carefully detailed each arrangement including the flowers that she would use and how they would look and they were absolutely perfect. When planning a wedding budget always plays a huge factor and in our initial consultation transparency was key so Olivia knew how much we were prepared to spend and she came back bang on budget which really meant a lot to us and cemented the fact that we knew we had made the right decision.
I mentioned to Olivia during our initial consultation that I was thinking about carrying a bouquet down the aisle and she loved the idea. I didn’t know what I wanted so Olivia and I embarked on a journey with numerous thoughts and ideas – amazingly we ended up using her grandmothers wedding bouquet as our inspiration – Olivia provided me with several drawings and I loved it.
We kept in touch as the wedding month approached and we had our final consultation at the venue. We walked all the spaces and chatted about plans and we didn’t need to change a thing as Olivia had thought of every single detail.
The big day arrived and we met Olivia at the venue she presented me with my bouquet and it was more than I could ever have imagined it was stunning. The bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful and complemented my bouquet perfectly. Olivia had created button holes for the wedding party and even thought about the womens button holes and as not to create any holes on outfits had mounted them on a magnets – its those little thoughtful details that made Olivia the perfect choice.
Olivia and colleague were a dream team on the day and once we confirmed that the weather was playing ball – they started to set up the venue. We had quite a tight turnaround from arrival at the venue to the start of the wedding service and with plenty of time to spare the flowers were ready to wow our guests. From the 2 giant urns with spectacular blooms, the gorgeous floral trees bursting with colour and the stunning flower meadow that surrounded our cake our vision came to life and it was spectacular!
We have had so many complements about the flowers and how beautiful they were and even when the big day was over Olivia bunched the flowers up and we gifted them out to our guests so that they could take a piece of our wedding home with them! Olivia doing our flowers was the best decision we could have made and we simply cant thank her enough for the beauty that she brought to our wedding with every single floral detail. We are so pleased we chose Olivia as our florist. She was very helpful and responsive in the planning for the day. She listened well to what I wanted and her e-mails were very clear and timely. We made a couple of changes after we’d paid the deposit and she was flexible and understanding. The flowers on the day looked absolutely beautiful and we had a lot of compliments on them! She really understood the vision I had and executed it beautifully, choosing some absolutely stunning flowers. I absolutely loved my bouquet in particular! She put everything up/in place at our venue on the morning of the wedding and went to the church to set the pedestals up too. It was so great to have a florist we knew we could trust from the beginning; it was one of the things I was most looking forward to seeing on the day and they did not disappoint!

TL:DR You will have an incredible experience, beautiful flowers, and Olivia will stick to your budget. Would absolutely hire her again and will recommend her to everyone I know.

Wow! I cannot say enough nice things about Olivia. From day one, she was so kind, patient, and accommodating with everything. I didn't have a clear vision when I first spoke to her, but she was able to take what I knew I liked and run with it. I was planning this wedding from abroad, and she was also so willing to navigate the time difference.

I spoke to a few florists with an initial inquiry and budget, and the first two came back with quotes at least £200 over what I said. I even specified that I just wanted to know what I could get within my budget and that I didn't need to have everything if it didn't fit. So, when I contacted Olivia, I actually quoted her £200 less than the budget thinking she would do the same thing, but she didn't! She told me what I could get within the lower budget I gave her, with a few options for more expensive/bigger arrangements IF I wanted them. I immediately knew that I wanted to work with her, and I ended up getting everything within my actual budget!

Not only is her customer service impeccable, but the flowers were beyond what I ever dreamed. I gave her minimal guidance: not a perfectly spherical bouquet but a bit more freeform, lots of greenery with mostly white flowers, lavender and ivy if possible, and I left the rest with her. I was truly blown away when I saw the flowers for the first time. She put so much care into every detail and the quality was unbelievable. I really can't recommend her highly enough.

I'll include some pictures. I loved that the buttonholes were all unique, and while I don't have any pictures that capture it well, the fireplace and table arrangements were incredible!

I never write reviews - but the service and final product I received from The Surrey Florist was so great, that now is a good time to start!

To speak in 'TikTok trend' terms, Olivia understood the assignment! As my time was rather limited, the only brief I gave was "I trust you" and "I guess I prefer a more wild look". Olivia really went above and beyond to achieve something absolutely spectacular (sharing some Pinterest ideas along the way, knowing that was the best format for me to view and give a slight bit of direction!).

The end-result was absolutely stunning (wild never looked so effortlessly luxurious) and something I never could have envisioned or even known I wanted. My wedding got delayed and cancelled just TWO days before the original date (thanks Covid) meaning it was autumn rather than late summer when we got married. Not only was Olivia communicative and supportive throughout this time (taking control and charge of the situation), the change in season was accounted for in the new arrangement and the colour palette and textures matched the now-autumnal feel perfectly. They also went really well with the small and intimate setting of the ceremony (just 12 guests).

I have received SO many compliments on my bouquet - both on the day and from the photos - it's one of the first things people notice. Thank you, from the bottom of mine and my new husbands' hearts! xxx

I would highly recommend The Surrey Florist - Olivia created absolutely beautiful flower arrangements, decorations and bouquets for for our wedding. Olivia gave great advice about what flowers were available and would work well for our wedding venue as well as making sure we kept within our budget! I loved all the flowers and they definitely made the day even more special, I love the natural way Olivia approaches her displays and her attention to detail is second to none…I would definitely recommend for your wedding!

Olivia took my brief and made something magical. Whilst I knew what I wanted and had a colour scheme in mind, Olivia’s knowledge meant that the flowers enhanced the day beautifully. Where to start! I knew flowers were going to be the core of my ceremony aesthetic and so finding the right florist was paramount. From our first meeting with Olivia we knew she was the one. I gave her a brief of ‘moody Christmas’ and right away she captured my vision. However on the day, seeing it all come to life it was more than I could have dreamed. The amount of detail in the floral selections, arrangements, colours was outstanding and obviously put together with a lot of love and passion. I even shed a tear when I walked into the wedding breakfast room and was in awe of how luxurious and beautiful it all looked. Truly a work of art and all of our guests thought the same. We don’t have any professional photos through yet but I’ve added what I have so anyone looking can get a rough idea but honestly I would recommend Olivia to everyone. Amazing and I cannot thank her enough.

Olivia was responsive, proactive, and overall amazing to work with throughout the entire process.
