Weddings by Dulcie Butterfly is a wedding florist based in Castleford, West Yorkshire. Dulcie is an experienced florist, venue stylist, and events planner. Her husband, Nathan, is a talented photographer. Together, they make quite the team. Dulcie and Nathan have dressed and photographed many of Yorkshire’s top wedding venues, including Oulton Hall, Waterton Park, Roundhay Mansion, and Priory Cottages. They also love to travel and have been involved in several Italian destination weddings. The list goes on and gets bigger with each passing year.

The Dean wedding ❤️
Dulcie did a fabulous job from start to finish. She communicated well, her prices are really reasonable.
When it came to choosing as I just wanted blue and white flowers she picked beautiful arrangements, the corsages with pearl bracelets where stunning and the buttonholes where all amazing (she even helped the men put them on).
She made sure all the flowers were out of the water and played out ready for my bridal party I cannot recommend her more. I loved my flowers they were perfect and fitted in so well with the colour scheme!

Just perfect!
Dulcie's flowers brought our entire wedding vision together - they were perfect, colourful, and beautiful.
We've had so many compliments on them and we're just so happy with Dulcie and everything she did for our special day.
Right from the very first meeting, Dulcie was so enthusiastic, friendly and generally just lovely. She listened to everything we wanted and brought it to life for us. Her communication was great and she's so creative, and really just understands all the stresses that come with weddings and helps eliminate as much of that as possible.
She went above and beyond her role as florist for the day too, by stepping in to help us to get our wedding outdoor. (our original plan) which was our dream for the day. That wouldn't have happened without Dulcie and we're so grateful for everything she did. Thank you, Dulcie!

Wedding at Newburgh
I hired Dulcie as our florist for our wedding in July this year. She was exceptional from start to finish, we altered the list of items we needed numerous times and this was never a problem.
We encountered a problem with the wholesalers towards the day of the wedding and this was quickly resolved by Dulcie. The value for money was exceptional in contrast with many other florists, she was friendly, approachable and the flowers were just incredible.
I had a special request of incorporating a rose from my nana's rose bush into my bouquet on the morning of the wedding and this bouquet will hold a special place in my heart forever.

Perfect flowers
When I contacted Dulcie I sent photos of what I would like and she did this to perfection. My flowers delivered fresh the morning of my wedding. They were beautiful. I ordered thank you bouquets, bridesmaid flowers. Flower girl ring, button holes, corsages and my own bridal bouquet. Absolutely perfect. Thank you again Dulcie.

Stunning bridal bouquet and floral decorations
Dulcie created stunning bridal bouquets and beautiful floral decorations for our wedding and supported me throughout the whole process from discussing and choosing the flowers to working out budgets. She was available to chat to on FaceTime, whatsapp and email, shared her expertise and reassured me. Nathan also did our wedding photography, he was unobtrusive and professional and has a calm and friendly approach and has taken some amazing photos to help us cherish our memories of our special day. Thank you both so much xx

The most beautiful flowers!
Dulcie's flowers for our wedding were absolutely beautiful, they matched the colour scheme and style of our wedding perfectly and got so many compliments! Dulcie is friendly, helpful and professional and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Everything I dreamed of!
When we booked our wedding Dulcie was the first vendor I contacted. I have known Dulcie for a few years and have had beautiful flower bouquets from her before as well as seeing the amazing flowers she has created for other weddings and events. I had always said that when I got married I wanted Dulcie to be our florist. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted and Dulcie created my dream bouquet. She was always easy to contact and happy to discuss my ideas whilst also using her expertise to make sure everything was perfect. Dulcie will always be my go to for flowers for any occasion.

Like A Friend
Dulcie was on the same page as me the minute we met! I felt so at ease knowing she was doing our flowers and felt like she really understood what I wanted and the flowers that she created were even better than what I imagined.

Amazing flowers, styling and photography
Dulcie styled my wedding beautifully in line with my Alice in Wonderland theme nothing was too much trouble and the photos Nathan took were stunning. Highly recommend they weee brilliant
