Markus Kendall- Young Travel Counsellors is a wedding travel specialist based in Leicester in the Leicestershire region of England. Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Markus, and I would love to be your Travel Counsellor!

My love for travel began back in the mid-90’s when I started my career as Airline Cabin Crew with some of the UK’s leading airlines. After I got my “wings” I was lucky enough to have visited many exciting places around the world from including the Americas, the Far East, Australasia and Africa, being the most exotic!

I later went on to work for one of the UK’s leading high-street travel agents, launching one of the Hypermarket stores and enjoyed creating perfect holidays for my customers.

I’m also an avid cruise traveller myself, having done over 40 cruises myself and have lots more booked to look forward to. So, anything you want to ask about cruise holidays, I can most certainly help.
With many of my friends of family asking me to help with holiday arrangements, I decided to utilise my experience, my passion for travel and my love of cruise and become a Travel Counsellor. This allows me to offer my clients a truly personal experience, at a time that suits you and with an itinerary that suits you.

Travel Counsellors was established nearly 30 years ago and is a truly global travel business, with care being in the DNA of everyone who is part of this organisation. Working from my home office in Leicestershire, I will take the time to create your perfect holiday - there are no queues, no distractions and no pressure to sell specific products - I am totally focused on you! I don’t work set hours, so I can usually respond to messages or calls outside of the usual “office hours” you get with a regular agent. I always love to meet my clients where possible, and this can be via an online Teams/Zoom call or face-to-face if our geography permits.

As well as offering a truly tailor-made honeymoon, destination wedding abroad or holiday, I will take time to understand all the parts of the arrangements that are important to you and ensure we tick all the boxes possible! All my travel arrangements are ATOL-protected so that you can book with confidence! As well as creating beautiful tailor-made experiences, I offer everything from chilled beach escapes to worldwide tours and from ocean or river cruises to city breaks!

I can also provide holidays from all the well-known suppliers such as Jet2holidays, TUI, and easyJet holidays, as well as being able to offer many more tour operators.
