We had an absolutely fantastic experience making our wedding rings in Mark's studio! From start to finish Mark was reliable, professional and helped us to make the best possible choices to bring our ideas to reality. His investment in time upfront to explain the process, steps and activities before the workshop took place were valuable and he was equal parts entertaining and knowledgeable, on the day. We were also treated to a truly delicious lunch spread and afternoon cakes by his lovely wife Jane. Perfect way to spend a Saturday! This was truly a one-of-a-kind experience that has created one of our most favourite memories in the lead up to our wedding and I'm sure for years to come. Would definitely recommend to any couple looking for an adventure and interested in investing time in making a memory as well as getting some gorgeous jewellery at the end! Cannot recommend Mark enough!

We had a truly special day with Mark. Forging our own wedding bands was a magical adventure and he was a cardinal part of it. He taught us his trade and passed on his skills. Nothing seemed to be a problem because, as he said "making jewellery is problem solving". He accommodated every of our needs and his wife, Jane was an absolute star as well. She prepared a fantastic plate of nibbles for our lunch break and even took our newborn boy for a wee stroll so we could focus on the works. All in all it was an experience that we will always cherish and remember every time we look at our rings, which came out amazing. Many thanks indeed.

We had an amazing day making our wedding rings with Mark. We had a consultation before hand to choose our metals and on the day we got to experience the whole process and even came out with some spare silver rings from practising.

Mark is super friendly and welcoming and Jane put on a lovely lunch for us. There’s plenty of tea and biscuits and their dogs are super cute. I’d definitely recommend Mark for an unforgettable experience.

My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed our workshop with Mark, he made us feel at ease and we could do as little or as much as we wanted to get involved making our wedding rings, he didn't make us do anything we weren't comfortable with e.g. using tools we weren't confident with. We had a small mishap (as they can happen) but Mark being as skilled and knowledgeable as he is was able to work his magic and help us achieve our lovely wedding rings. Above all he made it fun and light hearted, we couldn't have wished for a better day. It was such a special experience and I highly recommend couples to do this as it makes your rings so much more special and memorable.
We were also well supplied with tea, biscuits, a lovely lunch and even cake in the afternoon. We can't thank Mark and Jane enough for making this day so enjoyable.

Mark was super knowledgeable, made us feel very welcomed and helped us to craft our own silver wedding rings and even a pair of earrings! It was super interesting to see the whole process of how a ring is made from a strip of metal!

We had such a lovely time with Mark making each others wedding rings in his lovely studio. Mark is such a knowledgeable, and professional. He taught us each process very carefully with lots of fun. It was the most memorable day and incredible experience for us. Thank you for everything, Mark.

Jo and I first met Mark - a super charismatic and enjoyable London lad - over a Zoom call. We were lining up our wedding for the back end of the year, and wanted to get our rings planned ASAP. Rings are important for a wedding. After a great chat over a coffee, we decided that Mark was our man.

We followed up with a visit to Mark’s master craftsman playground, deep in the glorious Welsh countryside. We had a nose around his workshop, asking lots of questions about all of his fun looking tools and equipment, before we got down to the business of ordering materials (read: precious metals!) for our rings. It gave us a chance to sit on the veranda with cake to talk about his turtle and his aspirations for bee keeping.

Come the day, we turned up a bit early and got down to the business of fashioning the things we’ll wear for the rest of our lives. Mark couldn’t be more suited to the job. He disseminated our musings for ring design (“sea foam”), took us through each stage of the process with utmost patience and knowledge, and with some trial and lots of error on our part, we had some incredible rings!

We made a grand total of 5 wedding rings, each one different to the others, and we couldn’t be happier. I’m so glad we found Mark, and won’t hesitate to recommend him. Get him while you can.

We had the best day making one another’s wedding rings out of our Grandparents’ rings. From our initial video consultation Mark was fantastic, answering all of our questions and accommodating the short timescale we were looking to work to. When we arrived for our ring making day Mark had already melted down and prepared the gold from the rings we had given him the previous week, and had taken photos and video for us to use in our wedding film. He guided us through the fascinating process of making the rings - first explaining and showing us before supervising and helping us to do it ourselves with our gold. It was even more fun and rewarding than we could have hoped, and we were fuelled through the day with plenty of tea, lunch and cake. The finished rings are beautiful, and the extra significance they hold for us due to having made them ourselves from heirloom jewellery makes us even more excited to exchange them on our wedding day.
