We are challenging the preconceptions of mobile wedding bar hire, Boston & Hawthorne provides a unique and tailored mobile cocktail bar experience for your wedding from a meticulously converted 1970s Rice Beaufort horse trailer bar, offering cash bars, open bars, drinks packages and dry hire services to suit a variety of budgets and demographics.

In short, we cater to both indoor and outdoor weddings. Whether it’s a barn wedding, outdoor wedding, marquee wedding, festival wedding, small wedding, or micro wedding, we cater to a variety of venues and styles. We provide personalised menus that reflect your vision, ensuring your wedding bar is as unique as your celebration. Our services suit both indoor and outdoor weddings, with flexible options for every type of celebration.

We can also operate as a supplemental, standalone, wedding cocktail bar, prosecco bar, or gin bar, with or without our usual draught beer, wine, and soft drinks, making us adaptable to any event style. Supplementing an existing offering can help to offer your guests extra special experiences on your big day.

Features of our service

• A free 30-minute wedding bar consultation to ensure we are the right fit for your wedding before you book us.
• Personalised menus: Choose from our bespoke cocktail menus or customise your own.
• Sample the menu in advance. Cocktail and wine tastings are available at your convenience.
• You pick the wines from our curated wine list sourced from local and eco-conscious suppliers.
• Your choice of draught, as long as we can source it, we can serve it. We can provide up to 2 draught lines and 2 ale lines for your wedding.
• Flexible packages tailored to your needs. Whether it’s arrival drinks, champagne toasts, or G&T stations, we cater to all budgets.
• Free use of premium glassware. We supply our own polycarbonate premium glasses (like the ones used in exclusive venues, that look and feel like real glass).
• PA system and microphones are included for background music and speeches—control the playlist to set the perfect atmosphere.
• We accept all payment methods: cash, card, pay-as-you-go, open bars, customised tabs or invoices if you’re covering the bill.
• Fixed deposits and the minimum spend are agreed in advance, based on guest numbers and required staffing. Any additional packages contribute to the minimum spend, ensuring easy budget management, which means we usually get to refund your deposit at the end!

For example, 100 guests and a cash bar would mean around 2 drinks per person to hit the minimum spend, so you’re not picking up the tab.

We’ll send you a quote based on the information you give us and our list of packages, a link to book a 30-minute consultation if you’d like more information, we then keep in touch occasionally to see how you’re getting on wedding planning (exciting!).

If you're happy to go ahead, we’d take a deposit to secure your date, confirm the nitty gritty and then get down to personalising your menus and packages.
