Welcome to Pingu Bar!

We’re a small, family-run business in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, with a one-of-a-kind mobile bar that we built ourselves during lockdown. Our bar is made entirely from reclaimed wood (eco-friendly and full of character!) and is available to hire for all kinds of events – from weddings to private parties, public fairs, and more.

The Pingu Bar Team – Jenny (me), Cliff (husband), Phillip (dad), Nadia (social and creative queen), and the three boys (my offspring) – all pitched in to transform an old trailer into a bespoke bar. What started as a lockdown project has grown into something we’re so proud of, and we love sharing it with our customers.

With its warm, rustic charm and vintage touches, Pingu Bar fits beautifully into events with a classic or nostalgic vibe. Our reclaimed wood bar and thoughtful design make us the perfect addition to vintage fairs, aesthetic weddings, and retro-inspired celebrations. The best thing about Pingu Bar? It’s completely tailored to you. Whether you want a dry bar (you provide the drinks and staff), a fully stocked and staffed service, or something in between, we’ve got you covered. We even do cash/card bars at events, so really, the sky’s the limit!
