Beats & Smiles - a professional internationally-accredited DJ located in Nottingham offering wedding DJ services! I have had an extensive DJ career that has taken me across the globe from Italy to California, DJing with names such as Annie Mac, MistaJam, Malkit Singh, Scott Mills, Charlie Sloth and more headlining venues such as the O2 Academy and The ICC, before switching my focus to weddings. I also gig regularly for Red Bull and Nando's! My sets are all bespoke, and I work with all clients beforehand to make sure I have the perfect playlist for your perfect day. I have a vibrant personality behind the decks and aim to create an ultra fun fun atmosphere! I deliver a world-class performance, with each set being specifically created for each event. All setups are fully customisable. I also provide karaoke services!

What is included in the wedding package?

Lighting, speakers and a microphone are included, with some optional extras such as enhanced lighting, mock fire/flame machines, LED DJ booth, glowsticks, smoke machine, bubble machine and more!

Preferably a few months at least as my availability can be tight however I can also accommodate last minute if I'm available!

I’ve specialised in weddings for 10 years and have travelled from California to Italy to DJ, DJing with the likes of Annie Mac, MistaJam, Scott Mills, Charlie Sloth and more. I am also Nando's DJ!

Depends on the package - an evening package is typically 5 hours, a whole day package can include music for the ceremony + wireless microphones for the speeches and background music before the disco

Our Special Day

Aamir is the perfect DJ for all celebrations. He is so enthusiastic & nothing makes him happier than seeing everybody on the dance floor having fun. Aamir DJ'd at our Wedding Reception. Playing background music during the afternoon & then the atmosphere in the evening was amazing. He will play any genre of music you would like & always happy to play requests. The communication with Aamir is excellent, nothing is too much trouble, finding out & discussing the playlist of our choice. Our guests were so impressed & Aamir has been highly recommended & went on to play at a friends 60th Birthday Party. Rates very reasonable.

Unforgettable!

Communication and service were exceptional—10/10. Such a genuine person, and it was an absolute pleasure having him be a part of our special day. He really understood the vibe of the crowd and made sure everyone had a great time. We received nonstop compliments from our guests about how fantastic the music was! Made the evening celebrations of our wedding one to remember!

The best DJ we have ever come across!

Aamir recently DJ’d at our wedding and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a better person to do the job. Even with a last minute venue change, Aamir was nothing but accommodating! The set up was brilliant and he played songs throughout the evening catered to every single guest. He even handled the wild requests from all the kids brilliantly😂 everyone commented on how amazing he was throughout the night. Can’t wait to throw another party just to use Aamir again! This DJ is the Labrador of all vendors!

I hired Aamir for his multicultural attributes and he knew the assignment!
He was a huge hit with the guests, he’s super responsive and he’s so involved and very excited in everything you have planned for him!
I’d recommend him to anyone who wants a high energy, motivated, outgoing dude who will be an absolute gem with the aunties ;)

Amazing experience with Amir ✨

Amir is such a great Dj! He really got to know us before the wedding to understand our mixed culture vibe (Arab/Asian) and did not fail to deliver on the day. We had a packed dance floor the whole evening. Thank you so much Amir! ❤️✨
