The Blue Rinse is a live wedding band based from Bedfordshire, England. This award-winning five-piece ensemble has been providing energetic and engaging performances for special occasions for 21 years. From sixties hits right the way through to modern favourites, this group can perform your perfect playlist across various genres and decades.
Services Offered
The Blue Rinse aims to ensure that your wedding entertainment experience exceeds your expectations with a range of comprehensive services. In addition to their live performances, this musical act is supported by a professional DJ that provides music before, between and following the 3x60mins live sets. The Blue Rinse are supported by an on-site sound engineer to ensure the sound is flawless from your first dance to the last and professional lighting for the performance/dancefloor area is also included. The Blue Rinse appreciate guests may differ in age and muisc tatse and can modify their performance to ensure that everyone enjoys the experience. Smooth set up and soundcheck and packdown are included to facilitate a stress-free experience.

Couples can request a live first dance song & a top 20. Any we perform will be included in our bespoke live sets & our DJ will play any remaining; although we may learn a song that compliments our set

What is the length of time of the act?
We perform 3 hours of live music!
Standard package includes 3 x 60mins band sets, complimented by our DJ to start, between & following live sets, within 7.30pm -12.00midnight.

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
We advise 70mins to set up and sound check . However, where there is direct access into the performance area, this can be reduced to 60mins. We're a well oiled machine when setting up! :-)

The best band for our wedding
We are so thankful that we chose The Blue Rinse. They offer 3 x 1 hour sessions of live music, and their DJ covers the breaks in between. The set list and sound were awesome, as was the version of The Best we requested for our first dance (starting off slow and acoustic, and then full band kicking in whilst guests joined us on the dance floor). We had such a great night thanks to these guys and so many guests said how incredible the band were! Thank you so so much :-) Thank you also for the helpful and prompt communication and helpful tips along the way Marie.

Perfect band!
The Blue Rinse were simply fantastic and really made our wedding day special. Ahead of the day, the organisation and communication was perfect and we'd 100% recommend them to anyone. The range of music and level of crowd engagement meant the dancefloor was never empty while they were performing. The fact that they asked us which 10-20 songs we definitely wanted played and 3-4 songs we didn't meant we got a personalised experience and it was this attention to detail that made the band so special. They also learned our first dance, slowing it down to make it a perfect tempo for the first half before speeding it up for the second half. It was everything we'd dreamed of. Thank you Blue Rinse!

Perfect choice for our wedding!
Thank you so much again for the guys travelling so far for our wedding. We absolutely loved having them and we got so many comments from people about how great the band and DJ were! Thank you also for the card including the set list, that’s a very thoughtful touch, we love having that to remember it by. We’ll hopefully catch another show again in the future!

Regular contact with Marie/TBR made wedding planning MUCH easier (one thing less to worry about). Booking was really transparent and easy. Everyone commented on how good the band were as evidence in that the dance floor was never empty. Such as great group all round and interacting with the guests. They performed our first dance and father, daughter dance brilliantly (even altering lyrics to make it more personal). Even the added touch of a wedding card with the playlist was such as lovely detail. People were holding their wees and running from the bar for the songs. They play for long intervals and even the DJ was great. Such friendly team who obviously love what they do. Cannot thank nor recommend them enough!

The Blue Rinse are amazing!!
We debated getting a DJ or a band for our wedding, but decided on a band after attending a wedding with an awful DJ. We 100% made the right decision.
We met Martin at a couple of wedding fairs and he was always lovely to chat to. The info Marie provided during the booking process and before the wedding was very thorough and Marie was always extremely helpful and quick to reply if we did have questions.
On the night of our wedding The Blue Rinse blew us away. The dance floor was always full and TBR had clearly listened to us and personalised our set list accordingly.
We’ve had so many compliments about the band and have even talked about having an anniversary party just so we can party with TBR again! I would recommend TBR to anyone organising a wedding or party!

Fantastic wedding band!
The Blue Rinse were wonderful from our very first interaction all the way until our wedding day. We loved the bands energy and our guests had a great time dancing the night away. The mix of music was perfection and our first dance everything we wanted! Thank you so much to the guys (and to Marie for her incredible organisation)!

The Best Wedding Soundtrack! Non-stop dancing and fun.
The band were amazing. We met them at a wedding show last year and then went to one of their gigs. As soon as we saw how they had everyone up and on the dance floor, we knew we had to book them for our wedding! They performed our first dance which made it so much more amazing, it was exactly what we hoped it would be. The set list was great, and we even received a copy of it from the band which is now framed on our wall! It was a very personal touch that we weren't expecting. Everyone said how amazing and wonderful the band were, the best way to celebrate our wedding. The Blue Rinse definitely made the best Wedding soundtrack. Thank you!

Everyone commented on how great TBR were, even other vendors – Dave the Photo Booth guy was impressed as he was empty during the sets the band did. Excellent from start to finish
I’m so glad we chose Blue Rinse to play at our wedding the set list was perfect, Everyone loved the boy band section! We had so many comments on how good the guys were and what a lovely atmosphere it was. Also we had to postpone our wedding 3 times due to covid and they were really helpful in changing the date

Bladdy brilliant!
The Band really did make the evening! We have had so many comments from our guests about how ace the band were. Loads of people on the dance floor all evening and into the night! We especially loved our first dance song the band kindly learnt and put their spin on. We appreciate the time and effort of this. Thank you summed up in one word, Phenomenal! Marie was always responded so quickly to our queries and I can’t wait to see them again at my sisters wedding next year!
