If you are looking for a 10-piece+ function band that will get the party started and everyone dancing - Charlie & The Funk Factory are the band for you! My wife and I are both musicians, so spent a lot of time picking the right band for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Such great feedback from our guests too.

We couldn't be happier with Charlie and the Funk Factory! They made such a huge difference to the atmosphere through-out our wedding day, from Charlie playing in the procession on piano, to the band's energy during the reception, which had everyone dancing through-out. We would recommend them without skipping a beat!

The whole process was seamless: Charlie helped us pick the songs, (for the reception, we left it entirely up to him and were not disappointed!) and we were really impressed by how the first dance turned out -- it's a song that's special to us, definitely not popular or well known, but Charlie and the band arranged and played it beautifully!

We hired these guys to play our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. They absolutely made our wedding perfect, the dance floor was packed the whole time they were playing and everyone keeps telling us how much they enjoyed it. They learned a few songs for us too, as well as playing backing music my brother could play our first dance. Really flexible, super responsive and helpful. Honestly could not recommend this band highly enough!

Everyone at the wedding said they were the best band they'd seen - mostly because the band were also enjoying themselves and got everyone on the dancefloor for the whole evening. They looked amazing as well: glittery catsuits, black tie and velvet! We really appreciate that they learned our first dance for us and they took care of everything - we really didn't have to do anything at all. Would recommend them 100% and hope to get them involved for the next significant birthday/friends' weddings!

I was a bit hesitant at first as it is quite expensive, I also find the audio for adverts for wedding bands to be a bit too produced and clean sounding compared to the sound of a raw live performance but when it came down to it they were soooo good! Great song choices and very tight sound, excellent musicians all round and the vocalist was also great at engaging with everyone. If you're hesitating to pull the trigger like I was, just do it!!!

We really wanted a fun and funky band for our wedding reception and we certainly found it with Supertonic!

After months of searching with no luck, my husband found "Charlie and the funk factory" (as they were then known) online. After watching a few videos, we had a good feeling about them. From initial enquiry to a first video call with Charlie took a few days and we knew there and then that we wanted to book Supertonic.

They were so easy to work with. So accommodating. Our guestlist was really diverse in terms of age and background and Supertonic delivered above and beyond. They also provided a mic and PA for our wedding breakfast and speeches. In the evening the band played soul, pop, rock, reggae and r&b. To demonstrate their diverse range, our first dance was to As by Stevie Wonder and the song that got everyone up and singing along was Three Little Birds by Bob Marley. All the musicians and singers are fantastically talented .Everyone was on the dancefloor from start to finish. Our friends and family still talk about the band and how amazing they were.

We don't have a single bad thing to say about Charlie and the group. We are now their biggest fans LOL and have seen perform after our wedding, that's how much we love them!

A truly incredible group who provided the perfect package for our wedding day. Whilst Supertonic are undoubtedly brilliant musicians and singers, they're also fantastic entertainers as well - they interacted with us and our guests throughout the night and created the perfect wedding atmosphere. We were recommended Supertonic by a friend who had seen them perform at a recent wedding at our chosen venue.
We had an initial call with Charlie so he could understand what entertainment we were looking for, our favourites genres and get a general feel for the vibe of the day.
He was so lovely to chat to and quickly put together his recommendations and quote which perfectly suited our needs and wants.
We went for the Gold package which provides music throughout the entire day; solo piano for our ceremony, an acoustic group for our drinks reception, and 11 piece band for the evening plus a DJ with an accompanying Sax! They also manage all of the sound systems and lighting and can provide the microphones for the speeches.
I cannot express how INCREDIBLE this band are! They are so talented and can perform such a wide range of genres. We had the most amazing and fun party thanks to them. I did not leave the dance floor!
We have had so many comments from our guests saying that Supertonic are the best wedding band that they had ever seen. We cannot recommend them enough!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Charlie and the Funk Factory. We went for a whole day package which meant we had pianist for our ceremony, jazz quartet for drinks and then the full funk band for dancing. They are hugely talented and professional musicians and were so receptive to our requests, even adding a few songs to their repertoire for us! So many of our guests commented on how great a vibe they were!

guys were brilliant - our guests were blown away by the band and Luke looked after us all weekend! Couldn’t recommend more! A talented bunch and great to work with :)

We were so lucky to have Charlie and the Funk Factory at our wedding. From the outset it was great to deal with them, they were so accommodating with the music for our first dance and the arrangements for the day, and when Covid meant we had to postpone and we had to change everything there was no problem.
At the event we couldn't have asked for better - we had a jazz quartet in the afternoon which was perfect for the drinks reception, and in the evening we had a 9 piece band which managed to get all our guests dancing and having a great time after a year without parties! Everyone told us how great the music was and the song list was just right. What was especially lovely was seeing that the band were having fun too and how much they enjoyed playing together. We just wish we could do it all over again!
