Devoted Events is a multi-award-winning wedding DJ company based in Chelmsford, Essex. Specialising in personalised services, they will strive to ensure that your celebration of love is as unique as your relationship. Using state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, they will work hard to help you and your loved ones make lasting memories together.

Depending on your needs, their dedicated DJs would be honoured to perform for your ceremony and evening reception. With an expansive selection of songs from a wide array of genres, they can tailor your wedding soundtrack to perfectly suit your preferred style. What is included in the wedding package?

Two uplit podiums with an LED mirror ball effect on each, two moving head lights on our modified deck stand and FBT Vertus Speakers. Everything in white for that bespoke, premium wedding style

How far in advance should I contact you?

We take bookings from three months up to three years in advance

What style of music do you offer?

Other (This is your day so we work precisely how you'd like us to, be it mainstream or specific. Many clients with International guests have requested libraries of traditional music. We always accommodate)

The best DJ should be a chameleon. We alter our style and performance to suit your desire for your day and your guests. Your day should be exactly how you wish it to be without compromise

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

We love to help so if there is something not in our brochure that doesn't mean we cannot supply it or introduce to a reliable, professional company who can. We love a challenge!

What's your experience?

Jimmy Lee, started DJing at 13-years-of-age in 1983 and is the owner of the business. Having DJed in clubs in Miami and Ibiza between 1989 and 1995 he then chose to only to focus on weddings in 2014

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Can you travel?

Yes, we usually travel up to 90 minutes' each way from Chelmsford included in our pricing

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, 80 mile radius of Chelmsford. Further distances may result in a nominal fuel levy. Reasonable costs such as parking or congestion fees would be borne by the client

What is the length of time of the act?

Ordinarily, the DJing is roughly between 7pm and midnight but we are very flexible. We also offer an all-day hosting package so are often at a venue from 9am to 2am with setting up and packing away

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

Our disco only can be set up in 45 minutes. Other items can extend this time but we always approach each wedding in full consultation with not only the couple but also the venue co-ordinator

How do you charge extra time?

This is discussed with the client on a case by case basis according to their needs

What are the forms of payment?

We accept payments via our online planning portal or bank transfer. Clients can make payments at any time up to two weeks prior to the event date. Just a £250 deposit secures the date
