Grupo Azucar is a unique wedding band based in Bradford, in England's West Yorkshire region. These talented musicians bring a Latin flavour to celebrations of love and know how to fill the dance floor. Whether you envisage a sophisticated soiree or a fun night of salsa dancing, they're guaranteed to curate an unforgettable experience. Their diverse repertoire adds a Latin sparkle to hits by artists such as The Specials, Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, Basement Jaxx and Santana. They also cover popular Buena Vista Social Club songs and other Latin classics. They serve couples throughout the UK and Europe.

What is included in the wedding package?

Grupo Azucar bring a Latin flavour to soul, funk and pop classics, as well as performing hip-swaying Buena Vista salsa and Latin jazz/soul favourites!

How far in advance should I contact you?

The earlier the better to ensure that the band is available, however, they are happy to take last-minute bookings too!

We're a highly experienced band, in demand as a trio and individually, having played with international artists such as Elbow, Corinne Bailey Rae, Gregory Isaacs, Tony Christie and many more

Do you have your own equipment?

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, we require a power source to plug into. We also require food and soft drinks for three

Can you travel?

Yes, all of UK and Europe

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, we charge 30p per mile for 3 cars within UK. For international travel, all flights and transfers must be covered

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Yes

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

What is the length of time of the act?

We usually offer 3 x 30-minute sets or 2 x 45-minute sets, however, we're flexible and happy to tailor our package to suit the occasion. Our sets are completed within a five hour period from arriving

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

We allow 90 minutes to set up

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

Extra time is £150 per hour

What are the forms of payment?

BACS on receipt of invoice. 50% to be paid in advance, then the rest on the day of the performance

Great Vibe

The trio put on a lovely show, really setting the mood for the rest of the day. They were really easy to work with, set everything up and took everything down on time. No drama, no fuss, and delivered just what we wanted.

They even learnt a song for my bride to walk down the Isle and gave it an amazing Latin twist. They sent us a copy of it before hand to make sure it was all ok and I have been listening to it over and over.

Fantastic Musicians

We booked Grupo Azucar for our wedding as we wanted chilled Latino vibes to set the tone for our festival wedding, and they certainly didn’t disappoint! Jonny was very easy to deal with and I was very confident that they would deliver what we wanted on the day. The music was fantastic, the guests all commented on how great it was and it certainly got the party started as we hoped. Nothing was too much trouble and we would definitely book the band again, a lovely group of guys we had the pleasure of having at our wedding. Thank you!

An uplifting, talented, musical treat, bring your dancing shoes

Grupo Azucar performed at my daughters wedding .
They were fantastic , with a wide range of songs to suit the age range & musical preferences of the guests.
I would highly recommend booking the group for any celebration , a classy , very well attired , fabulous musical addition to an event.

Superb band
