Atmospheric Audio is a friendly, professional DJ service based in Alton, Hampshire providing high-end sound, lighting and a party atmosphere to weddings & parties across the South of England. Owner and founder Steve is an experienced DJ, who has a diverse creative background; playing in bands, touring the UK, recording with Coldplay's producer and managing a small theatre! So with Steve you know you are in safe hands! Atmopsheric Audio DJ aims to provide everything needed for a quality night of music tailored to your specific tastes. With hundreds of successful events under his belt, Steve has the experience, ability and knowledge to make your wedding celebration one to remember.
Services Offered
Atmospheric Audio offers you the opportunity to discuss musical tastes and favourite artists via colaborative playlists and video calls - there is no extra charge for this unlike other DJ suppliers! Selecting the perfect songs to get everyone up on the dance floor is what Steve does best, and he has a high appreciation for diverse musical tastes. Steve understands the amount of planning that goes into your special day and will work alongside you to create the perfect reception. Alongside his premier DJ services, Steve also provides a star-light DJ booth, complimentary uplighters and optional confetti cannons and smoke machines to add something different. With Steve, you will have a fully customised DJ set for the evening that includes song suggestions, a few well-known classics and any requests on the night from guests all mixed live! What's your experience?
I have 10 years of experience performing and playing at weddings. I studied music at uni coming out with a first class degree. I have as a guitarist in a 6-piece R&B wedding band
Do you have your own equipment?
Yes
Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
Yes, a supply of 240v electricity and at least 2 x plug sockets.
If planning to use a generator for a marquee please contact me for an up to date figure for power consumption
Can you travel?
Yes, i am able to travel across the UK, however transportation is charged at 45p a mile
Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, 45p a mile
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
Alone
What is the length of time of the act?
Typically 7pm until midnight. Anything over 5 hours DJing incurs an extra charge
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
Ideally an our and a half, however my equipment can be setup in an hour with prior warning

£150 an hour past midnight
What are the forms of payment?
Bank transfer or cash on the night. All deposits are paid via bank transfer

Can’t recommend enough 👏
Steve was just brilliant, he played all the songs we sent over on our playlist for our wedding. Easily the best event dj i’ve seen! I really loved Steves set up as it really added to the ambiance of the room. Steve was just happy to go with the flow as we were, and ended the night on impromptu karaoke session which has made an incredible memory for us. Thank you SO MUCH!!!!

We would 100% recommend Atmospheric Audio. Steve did an incredible job providing our wedding entertainment. From the beautiful rustic set up to the amazing live mixing and great choice of music, Steve helped in making our special day perfect. From ease of booking and planning, through the seem less set up. We would definitely use again for any future events!

Incredible DJ, would highly recommend.
We had the pleasure of Steve supplying the music for our wedding. I could not recommend him more, he was so accommodating to our music choices and got all the songs spot on. Everyone had an amazing time and my husband and I still can’t get over how incredible it was. Steve really took the time to get to know what music we wanted to make our wedding evening perfect. I would highly recommend 10/10.

Steve's set up was perfect and he made sure to entertain our guests! We provided Steve with a playlist which he made sure to mix up throughout the night to ensure a great mixture of genres and music. He even allowed our best man to sing a karaoke song for our guests which was a lovely touch and one to remember forever. We would highly recommend Steve for any wedding or event you may have. Thank you Steve, you were amazing!

Dancing all night!!
We cannot recommend Steve enough!! When dreaming of my wedding, the one thing I always wanted was a full dance floor and boy, did Steve deliver! He was phenomenal, knew exactly what songs to play and when, and kept the dance floor going! So many people commented on how awesome the music was and everyone just had THE BEST night! The mixes, the timing of each song, the blend of different genres, everything was absolutely perfect! Steve was so easy to communicate with throughout the whole process and so easy to chat to on the night. He was so very humble too and just cracked on with giving us a party to remember. He doesn't just come and play songs, he reads the room and chooses songs for each moment to ensure the dance floor is filled! Thank you so so so much Steve for making my dream come true! We will never forget our wedding party 💃🕺🏻

Excellent Wedding DJ!
Steve recently provided the evening music for our wedding. He provided an excellent playlist and tailored this to our tastes/preferences perfectly. Couldn’t have asked for more.
Right from the start Steve was friendly and always responded in a timely manner. He was clear about information that he needed and there was no back and forth fussing which was fantastic and reduced a lot of stress. I didn’t need to chase and he was completely open to our vast variety in music taste! On the day we couldn’t fault him at all. Steve was set up and ready when expect and was wonderful in accommodating anything we needed, even finding and playing a song from the band my brother-in-law was in when younger!

All night dancing!
Steve was brilliant and kept our guests dancing all night long! I would absolutely recommend that you book him for your special day!

On the day Steve arrived in plenty of time and set up seamlessly. Then from the first dance the music was just consistently brilliant and kept our guests dancing! We didn't offer too much thought on the music we wanted as wanted to leave a lot up to his experience and he did not let us down at all! Just everything we could have wanted.

Outstanding 🌟
We booked Steve for our wedding last Saturday at Rhienfield House Hotel. I actually found him on Google, read some reviews and decided to go ahead and were so glad we did!
Steve absolutely made the night. I'd sent him a playlist of songs our guests had asked for on our rsvps and he mixed them in seamlessly with tons of other great tracks.
He made announcements for our 1st dances, Fireworks outside etc very professionally. The dance floor was full all night, guest even asking for one last song at the end, which Steve kindly did! So many of my guests commented on how great the music was.

Fantastic experience from start to finish!
Steve was so professional and lovely from start to finish. He was super efficient when booking us and all invoicing and communication was clear and simple to follow! We had such a fun time compiling our playlist for him to mix and he did a fantastic job on the evening and all of our guests had an amazing time! Such a great party thanks to Steve!
