We booked 'The Selection' who are managed by HD Events via another entertainment agency. After months of confirmation that they were available and looking forward to performing at our wedding, we were informed (after a week of chasing HD Events for the final invoice) that the band was no longer available and that they 'didn't want to worry us and were trying to sort something out with understudies.' This was the day before our wedding. No apology was offered. The agency we had booked the band through was also not informed. We were sorting out a band last minute on the morning of our wedding, stress we did not need and could have been avoided if HD Events had been open and honest from the start. We did not want them to send their understudies as we felt a) this was not their call to make and b) there are several other reviews which report how poor the replacement acts were. We are very disappointed with HD Events and would not recommend them.
