Holy Scratchimony is a Manchester based collective offering DJ services. As part of WhatAboutThe LTD, this team delivers creative excellence to each happy couple celebrating their wedding. Since 2002, their DJs have sonically set the scene for many diverse weddings, events and brands, including Artist Residence Hotels, Dazed Magazine, Northern Monk and Factory International. They've also shared the stage with Alchemist, Carl Barât, Chase & Status, Dead Prez, Hot Chip, Metronomy and much more.

Holy Scratchimony brings those festival and club feels to weddings across the UK. Prior to your wedding, they’ll meet you to consult on genres / styles that tick all the right boxes. When your wedding day arrives, they'll have liaised with your venue, ensuring you can stay in the moment and focus on savouring the experience. They do this with love and care; not just for the music, but for you, your guests and your big day.

What is included in the wedding package?

Our packages vary depending on the level of equipment / time / logistics / assets required. However, all bookings include a consultation, 5hr DJ set, £1m General Liability cover and media

How far in advance should I contact you?

We prefer a six month lead on bookings. However; as a collective of friendly and accommodating, established and budding DJs / creatives, we are used to last minute bookings / stand-ins - so reach out!

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

Our outlook is; if we've got it and it's going to work - let's have it. Hopefully though, we won't need to. A large number of couples who approach us, do so after seeing us playing "regular" sets out

What's your experience?

Weddings aside, we have set the scene for Artist Residence Hotels, Dazed Magazine, Manchester International Festival, Northern Monk, Peddler, Secret Cinema – as well as sharing stages with our heroes

Yes, we're based in Manchester, so we largely operate in the North of England. However, we're no stranger to travel and love playing in new locations - so get in touch!

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, £0.50 per mile (from Manchester, incl. return)

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

What is the length of time of the act?

Our bookings are based on a 5 hour set

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

We meet up with couples - way in advance, at a time and location that suits them - ahead of their wedding to discuss everything. Everything else, including liaising with your venue, will be ready

What are the forms of payment?

We take a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure bookings. After that, couples can stagger their outstanding balance however they like, provided the full amount is paid 24 hours before the event
