Hypehouse, based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, is a professional DJ providing DJ services for events with over 30 years of experience.

I started DJing in 1989, playing in my local bar in Leamington Spa.

In the mid-nineties, my career progressed, playing for bars and clubs around the West Midlands, Warwickshire, Northampton & Leicester, and around the UK and Spain.

I've had the pleasure of playing for club nights and events such as Hush, Miss Moneypenny's & Sobar in Birmingham City.

I also have experience in playing Wedding Parties, Birthdays, and Launch Parties and running/promoting my own events under the Hypehouse and Phunkadelik banner.

My role in your special day is to further bring joy & happiness, I am here for you and your guests, playing your favourite songs but also creating that atmosphere where everyone can feel that freedom and joy in dancing the night away with loved ones and friends alike.

What is included in the wedding package?

Set up time, Djing for up to 4 hours and removal of equipment is included in the wedding package. I will also do any announcements the first dance and provide a microphone for speeches

How far in advance should I contact you?

I did a wedding with 1 hours notice because the dj on the day had equipment failure but I would advise the earlier the better and preferably a week in advance

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

It is possible to request music styles that are not usually part of my repertoire, special songs that have meaning and favourite songs and even pre-requests can be worked into the set

I have 35 years Dj experience playing several genres of music such as Soul, RnB, Funk, Hip Hop, Rap, Disco, House and Garage

Do you have your own equipment?

Yes

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, i would require a good space to set up dj equipment and access to plug sockets. Area must be clean and dry due to the electrical equipment being provided

Yes, united Kingdom & Europe

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, 0.45p per mile

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

What is the length of time of the act?

Depends on the requirements of the customer but generally my rate covers up to 4 hours djing

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

I would require up to an hour set up time

Do you do open-air acts?

No

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

There would be a charge of £50 per 30 minutes which would be chargeable from the first minute into the hour and first minute into the the half hour

What are the forms of payment?

I accept cash and bank transfer. Bank transfer is required 24 hours prior to the event. Cash is required on arrival at the event
