Based in Watford, Hertfordshire, JP Discos Watford is a mobile disco business that specialises in weddings. Planning a wedding is an exciting time in your life. I know it can also be nerve-wracking as well, so choosing the right MC/DJ for you and your partner is crucial.

I offer a wide range of packages and extras, from the evening reception right up to all-day weddings and parts in between. I’ll take the stress away from you by liaising with the venue directly and I will arrange a meeting with you and your partner so we get to know each other too. The wedding planning pack will be sent to you weeks in advance and is very extensive too. I kindly ask for this back at least 4 weeks before your wedding.

I (Jack) am a skilled DJ and entertainment professional with 13 years of experience in the industry. I'm really passionate about creating the perfect party atmosphere for any occasion and I love to get to know my clients before their big day.

I am a "one man band" so my DJ work is never sub-contracted however I do work with a very close supplier for any add-ons that I don't have.

There are no hidden fees and no VAT although I do add fuel costs and travel time onto anything over 25 miles (Congestion Zones apply differently). Once the price is agreed, that's the final price.

Services Offered

To get to know each client's personality and style, I will like to arrange a meeting with you and your partner before the special day and I will stay in constant touch for peace of mind too. Couples can establish their needs and preferences during the appointment to plan a celebration that's tailored to their taste. I have a range of customisable packages and services, with something for every couple.

Each package comes with a projected congratulatory message (subject to room layout) and announcements throughout the day too. I will also work closely with your venue and any other suppliers you have on-site.

Highly recommended!

Jack DJed our wedding from start to finish, and he really helped make our day amazing. We wanted particular songs at different time points in the ceremony and at the start of the wedding breakfast, and Jack timed them all perfectly - he even managed to play our requested song at the exact moment when our dog came charging down the aisle at 100mph with our rings, which is no small feat! The volume was always right, the combos of songs and transitions for the dancefloor music were fantastic, and as a result the dancefloor was always occupied. His communication was always prompt and professional, he was efficient in arriving/moving kit around/packing away, and he gave us plenty of instructions and questions which helped guide us through the process massively. The venue owners were also impressed with him. I would highly recommend Jack to anybody wanting a DJ for their special event, he is excellent value for money and a really nice guy!

Brilliant wedding DJ!

Absolutely AMAZING!!

Jack was absolutely amazing for our wedding day and so professional. He listened to everything and took into account everything we wanted. He decorates his equipment beautifully and the crisp wall and dance floor were an absolute dream and certainly a good touch to our wedding!

Partied all night!

Jack was absolutely amazing. Went with us when we had last minute changes, music vibe was 10/10. Everyone has an amazing time and the disco lights were brill. Couldn’t recommend enough!!!

Just perfect

From the moment we met Jack we knew he was right for our wedding. When we met he sat and listened very carefully to what we wanted, nothing was too much trouble. On the wedding day he set up nice and early although we hardly knew he was there. Throughout the meal he played perfect background music. Cannot recommend him highly enough , made our evening just perfect. People have called us asking for his details which has led to subsequent bookings for Jack.

Fabulous experience!

From start to finish, Jack was fantastic to work with. He was easy to communicate with, very professional yet friendly and accommodated all of our requests with regards to songs and order of play etc. The client portal made the booking, payment and playlist management so easy. On the night itself, Jack arrived and set up with plenty of time. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I’d highly recommend JP Discos Watford.

Jack was amazing, everything was organised beforehand and the playlist organised ahead of the day allowed us to check the requests. The music was just right throughout the day. During the reception it was the perfect level for conversations to be had but also there for the lulls in conversations. In the evening, the choice of songs kept everyone on the dance floor and dancing until the end of the evening. Jack played a mixture of our playlist and his choices which worked brilliantly. Jack answered our questions promptly and any queries we had cleared them up for us. Everything was set up and ready to go, great value for money.

Fantastic from start to finish

Jack was fab throughout the whole process. He was great at communicating and never made us feel like we were a pain (we changed our minds a lot). We received so many compliments after our wedding about how great the dj was. The dance floor was full the whole evening! Jack was so friendly, he even gave one our guests a lift to the train station afterwards!

Perfect Wedding DJ/ MC

We recently hired Jack as the DJ and MC for our wedding celebration.

Jack was truly amazing and made sure the whole evening ran as smoothly as possible. Everyone commented on the incredible job he did. We will be recommending him in future

The process before the wedding was seamless, we were provided a platform to curate our perfect wedding playlist and he made sure to keep in contact with us right up until the day.

We had some slightly unusual music requests that he was happy to accommodate.

He adapted to the difficult situation when the timings of our party didn't quite go to plan

He has a beautiful set up for a wedding with gorgeous heart shaped lighting that can be used for first dance

He even took the most amazing photos/ videos for us too and shared them with us after

We couldn't recommend JP Discos enough

Outstanding DJ!!

Jack is a great DJ! He kept the party going at our wedding recently & all our guests were loving it. The client portal is brilliant for adding songs & although I didn’t get to dance to them all I could hear what we picked being played. Jack also set up the LOVE letters & star background for us which gave some great photo opportunities with them on the background. We also got the foam LED sticks which bought some old skool joy to the dancing. Thanks Jack, will happily recommend you to everyone.

Fantastic Service and exactly what we wanted

Jack was great and really helped us out. He was exactly what we was looking for and easy to work with. Very professional and perfectly on time meaning we had no stress from this part of the wedding day. If i ever need a DJ again, he will be my first port of call.

The perfect wedding DJ and a great guy.

We opted for the premium package, which was perfect for our wedding. He set up quickly and it looked fantastic. We had a number of phone conversations prior to the wedding as Jack wanted to fully understand what we wanted and was happy to adjust on the spot and accommodate any request. The Client portal on his website was very useful tool which allowed us to manage our guest's music suggestions. He has great music knowledge and read the room perfectly. So a big thank you to you Jack! You know you play a vital role in everyone's wedding and you made our day easier by being brilliant.

Fantastic DJ and Compere!

All we needed and more! Jack was super helpful and friendly for our wedding - He met us before the wedding at the venue and really put our minds at ease and our trust into him. The day was so magical, he played the ceremony music, breakfast music and then carried the party on into the evening - my feet ached the next day. He played what we wanted and more! Excellent service.
