Based in West London, Lucinda regularly performs at weddings around the UK and abroad.

Lucinda graduated from the Trinity College of Music in London and has since performed extensively around the world as a soloist and with various ensembles and orchestras. She is delighted to work with you and provide the atmospheric soundtrack for your romantic occasion.

Lucinda has a wide repertoire of classical and modern music that she can tailor to suit the theme and style of your wedding.

She is also more than happy to take requests and find an arrangement for a song that has special significance to you and your partner. From traditional processionals at the ceremony to tranquil numbers to accompany the drinks reception, Lucinda will help to create the dreamy ambiance you desire. She can perform solo, with a backing track, or with her pianist Jonathan.

What is included in the wedding package?

For the wedding ceremony, I can perform as your guests enter and then during the key moments of the ceremony. I can then continue to play during the drinks reception/wedding breakfast as required

How far in advance should I contact you?

I obviously get lots of bookings months in advance, but I can also accept last minute bookings too

Absolutely, I'm more than happy to learn any requests for the ceremony or for any other special part of the day

Since graduating from Trinity College of Music in London, Lucinda has travelled throughout Europe, the Middle East, Russia and South Africa, performing extensively as a classical cellist

No

Yes, all of the UK and Europe

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, 45p per mile for the first 100 miles, then 25p per mile

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

What is the length of time of the act?

Usually between 1-3 hours, but it depends on which part of the wedding the couple would like me to perform for

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

15 minutes

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

It depends on the circumstances but roughly an extra £100

What are the forms of payment?

10% deposit up front and then the remaining 90% within 14 days of the event

Extremely talented & gracious cellist - strongly recommend

I have no hesitation in recommending this wonderfully talented if not reliable if not beautiful cellist for any event you might consider holding she kindly played at my husband Richard Moyle's Surprise 70th party last night in Harpsden Village Hall & the party would not have been the same without her; I cannot wait to hire her again! kind regards Ffion Marianne Moyle/Harpsden/Henley-on-Thames

Accommodating, friendly, talented

Lucinda recently played at our Devon winter wedding and from the initial contact with her, we were completely confident that she would create a beautiful and unique atmosphere with her music. It was brilliant to see her perform ahead of time through her online portfolio and she was so flexible and professional to discuss different pieces of music for the entrance of the bride, ceremony and reception. One of my favourite moments from the day was walking into the marquee full of family and friends to the sound of the cello playing and the wonderful vibe she created through it. The perfect balance between entertainment and background accompaniment for any event and her demeanour and kind presence just added to it all! Thank you Lucinda!

Amazing lady, really enhanced our day,

Nothing was too much trouble, learnt some new songs for us as well which was really above and beyond.
