What is included in the wedding package?

My standard wedding package includes Lightconsole Go DJ Booth, 2 x Gigbar Move lighting towers (dressed with white scrim and uplighted), 2 x HK Audio Polar digital speaker system plus parcan lighting

How far in advance should I contact you?

I would recommend booking as soon as you are ready to! I do get booked pretty fast, 2024 is very limited and 2025 is starting to book up quick

I am happy to play any kind of music! There is nothing off limits. (I typically don't play the really cheesy action songs, such as Gangnam Style, unless insisted upon by the couple booking)

Yes of course!

What's your experience?

I have been DJing for over 20 years and have worked at hundreds of venues throughout the UK. I also won the North East Wedding Award 2022!

No

Can you travel?

Yes, i am based in Northumberland but happy to travel anywhere - price will be quoted accordingly

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, this depends on how far outside Northumberland your wedding takes place. There is no extra charge for Northumberland / Tyne & Wear areas

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

What is the length of time of the act?

My typical DJ performance is 5 hours (7pm until midnight). However, each wedding is different and each requirement is different so there is no set length. All depends on what you need!

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

I can be setup typically in 30 - 40 mins, but an hour would be the ideal amount of time

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

Anything over the quoted price / allotted time would be charged at £50 per hour

What are the forms of payment?

I accept Cards / Paypal / BACS or Cheque prior to the wedding date (cheque payments at least 14 days prior to the wedding). Cash payment can be made on the night, before the entertainment takes place

Wedding at Newton Hall

Simon ended my son's wedding day perfectly with his disco! Played the music we had requested on the playlist & kept the party going!

We chose Simon to DJ our wedding and we couldn’t have asked for better. Fantastic service right from enquiries through to on the day itself. The online system to fill in song requests before hand made everything so easy to do and we always got a quick response via email too.
On the wedding night, the dance floor was literally never empty- everyone had a great time and loved the mixing. The set up looked really good and professional too! We would highly recommend Simon.
