If you’re looking for a DJ that works the crowd, knows his music and can actually mix then look no further than DJ Coast2Coast.

When we booked Kose for our wedding we had a video call with him and instantly knew he was the DJ for us. His smile, energy and enthusiasm was infectious! We wanted someone that could start the night off with some Pop crowd pleasers, but end the night out with some House and Drum and Bass. We sent our playlists through about a month before the big day and Kose was buzzing for some of the late night tracks we’d chosen.

On the day, it was incredible. Lighting and audio kit were great, not just a corny disco ball and some loud speakers on poles. The mixing between songs meant the crowd was always moving and any songs which were a bit heavy we’re mixed in with a well known a cappella to keep everyone going. We also went for the optional photopod which was well worth the money!!

Everyone was blown away by how good the music was and we kept hearing “This is the best wedding DJ ever!”. The funny thing is calling Kose a wedding DJ really does do him a disservice. This guy is a first rate DJ, that thankfully for us, happens to do weddings!

We’ve already said that we’re going to throw another party in the not too distant future, just so we can get Kose back to do more of the late night stuff we all enjoyed so much!

From start to finish Coast2Coast was AMAZING. We had excellent contact before the event to discuss what genre of music we preferred, venue type along with details of how we wanted to proceed with our first dance. He helped with all queries we sent his way very quickly. He knew how to read the room exactly, playing a perfect mix of floor fillers and classics. He set up swiftly and brought his own lights which added to the ambiance of the room. He brought such a unique, cool vibe that was a brilliant touch on our special day. We would 100% highly recommend.

Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without Kose...

He was amazing on the day, playing the songs we had requested in our pre-wedding meeting (my wife and her bridesmaids especially enjoyed the emo section) and he kept us well informed in the lead up to the main event (we really didn't have to worry about anything).

It's worth highlighting that Kose is an actual DJ, mixing the songs and working the crowd, which is something we really wanted rather than a DJ who just uses a Spotify playlist.

His setup was amazing too - the speakers were super high quality, as was the lighting.

Before finding DJ Coast2coast, choosing a DJ for our wedding was one of the most stressful parts of wedding planning for me. I wanted a real party that had all of our guests, young and old, on the dance floor all night, and this is exactly what DJ Coast2Coast delivered. Everyone connected on the dance floor as we all sang and danced our hearts out. Comments like, "this DJ is amazing" and "this is the best DJ ever" were shouted all night long! We can't thank you enough, Kose, for giving us the perfect evening. I'm already thinking of parties we can throw just to have you DJ at another event. The photo booth was a massive hit, too, and seeing all the photos the next day was the cherry on top! We had a blast, Kose, thanks again!!

DJ Coast2coast became more than our wedding DJ on our entire wedding journey, he became a true friend. From the off he is professional and spends time with clients to figure out what music they want ..culturally able to provide that service ..I've seen him on 2 different occasions totally fill Dancefloors ..leaving people sweating from dancing so much and having the best time with him behind the decks...worth every penny, get him Booked quick...I promise you wont be disappointed.

Me and my then fiancé, didn’t leave a lot of time to organise a lot of key things including DJ due to the risk of lockdown again but we reached out to DJ Coast To Coast to see if they could help. We were completely stressed with everything wedding related but Kose and Kym were super organised and went the extra mile to reassure and advised us to enjoy the lead up to the wedding and that everything would be great. It were these guys with their experience and guidance which allowed us to enjoy the lead up to our wedding. Having a number of calls and Zooms we had gained complete confidence that we would have a great night with great music and we got more than that. Almost all of our guests complimented us on how good DJ Coast 2 Coast was and he completely validated our decision to go with a DJ over a band. DJ Coast to Coast was an amazing part of our wedding. An absolute show stopper and all our guests could not get over him. We had dhol players and Bhangra dancer and he managed to flawless combine his music with them! Every moment from start to finish - he gave it his all. We moved our wedding date to accommodate his schedule because it was so important for us to have him play at our wedding. And it was the best decision! As a DJ myself, my now wife made a good point that we must find someone to DJ our wedding who would not disappoint. This was a big prerequisite. After a bit of searching and listening to Kose’s mixes on soundcloud we had very quickly made up our minds.

Our selection of music is pretty eclectic. However, I myself have lived and breathed drum and bass since being a teenager, and our friends are all into dance music. The original idea was; start steady, maybe some smooth tunes for dads to dance to, maybe a big bulk of R&B and then, maybe the last half hour… house, garage and drum and bass.

I think when we had the video consultation prior to the wedding, we were possibly a bit concerned that our COVID ready wedding of 33 guests would not be enough of a crowd for Kose to manhandle into the party we had in mind.

I have to commend Kose’s ability to read the situation. Our original plan of ‘lets play some drum and bass at the end’ sort of got erm, put in the bin! And you know what, for the entire time, all our friends were dancing. Even my mum was dancing to drum and bass. Rest assured, you have to trust him, he’s a DJ and that’s what he does… looks at what’s making you and your guests have a good time and he will adapt. This is what makes a good DJ, reading the crowd, something that made our evening so much better than we could have imagined.

Before the consultation, Kose had figured out that I was a D&B DJ and insisted that he brought along some extra kit that was more familiar to myself. Again, I didn’t ask, it was far more for him to carry, but he did it because he knew what would make our day special for us. Playing a short set at my own wedding is something I will always remember, as will all our friends and family.

I know this review may sound very dance music heavy. But that’s because Kose planned around us, not the other way around. Whatever your taste and party, I can assure you that he will go out of his way to make it the party that is right for you.
