A WEDDING UNLIKE ANY OTHER: YOURS
With their music Paolo Serazzi and his Pocket Orchestra have turned more than 1500 weddings into unforgettable, unique events.
Years of experience in the field of live music for weddings and events (playing, among others, for Paramount, Ferrari, United Nations, Lufthansa, Martini, Lavazza, UBS...) led Paolo to develop his unique Fresco Method, with which he tailors each reception to the spouse's personality.
THE FRESCO METHOD
Unlike musicians who follow a fixed pattern, trying to impose themselves as protagonists and thus risk boring or annoying the guests, Paolo Serazzi draws inspiration from people and the context to create, with elegance and lightness, the most brilliant soundtrack for your wedding.
For the spouses, this means involving and surprising their guests. Becoming the score, the “eighth note” of a musical event that will not be repeated on any other occasion. An event which reflects the personality of the spouses and which leaves a pleasant and emotional memory in the minds and hearts of all participants. Flexibility, serenity, joy: everything is perfect in every moment
- Involving yes, intrusive never
Serazzi and the Pocket Orchestra play with heart and enthusiasm, as if it were their party. Thus, the involvement of the guests blossoms by itself and is genuine, the kind that only great music can make blossom.
- “...weddings are all the same...” (?!?)
From the ceremony to the dance, through the aperitif and the banquet, the Pocket Orchestra will create an event tailored to your personality and therefore unique, unrepeatable, different from all the others.
- Only “good music”
Duke Ellington said: “there are only two kinds of music: good music and the other kind”. The intriguing repertoire of the Pocket Orchestra - international, plus a selection of the best Italian music - stands out from the usual cover playlists and is proposed in a personal, unique way.
- Style and Savoir-faire
Elegance also in manners. Smiling and polite, the musicians of the P.O. know how to be up to any situation. Grandparents and grandchildren, friends and parents: no one will feel left out at your wedding.
- Variable Formula
The band's lineup is variable, to adapt to every need: from two to six musicians. Amazing and extremely close-knit artists, who have made even the King of Norway dance.
- Cosmopolitans
You know how the guests laugh when certain musicians sing in fake English!?! The Pocket Orchestra speaks five languages and is perfectly at ease with guests from different cultures and customs.
Formations
With the versatile duo, trio, quartet and so on up to the full set (six musicians), the Pocket Orchestra has the right formation for your reception. Its specialty is live music, both for the aperitif and for dancing.
Pocket Orchestra DUO: Paolo Serazzi (voice, piano, guitar, backing tracks) + Guitarist/Singer.
P.O. TRIO: with the addition of the sax
QUARTET: with the addition of the female voice
Pocket Orchestra Full Set: six musicians: piano, guitars, male and female voices, sax, bass, percussion.
EVEN WITH THE OBVIOUS DIFFERENCES, EACH FORMATION IS IN ITSELF COMPLETE AND WITH A GUARANTEED RESULT.
Repertoire
The repertoire embraces various genres, proposed with style and a personal sound.
The aperitif is one of the most suitable moments for live music, as well as one of the most important. Serazzi's repertoire is always lively and cheerful, as it should be at a reception: bossa nova, swing, jazz, pop songs. Music by Paolo Conte, Matt Bianco, Manu Chao, Daniele Silvestri, Vinicio Capossela, Jobim, Michael Bublè, Fiorella Mannoia, Zaz, Madeline Peyroux, Nat King Cole, The Beatles, Paolo Nutini, Jamie Cullum and many others.
The banquet is a moment dedicated more to conversation than to listening to music. The most suitable accompaniment is an elegant selection of recorded background music, at a very low volume. Sometimes the Pocket Orchestra’s musicians like to sing a few songs at the tables, with acoustic instruments and without microphones: an original surprise, which the guests always appreciate very much.
After dinner the P.O. will step on the accelerator and make everybody dance to live music, to the tunes of Ray Charles, Amy Winehouse, Jovanotti, Smash Mouth, Giuliano Palma & The Bluebeaters, Black Eyed Peas, Bob Marley, Gloria Gaynor, Lucio Battisti, Brian Setzer, Neffa, Avicii, Louis Prima, Max Gazzè and many others. After a couple of hours of dances with live music, if you want to dance some more, you can opt for the DJ set for the last part of the evening.
For the ceremony - religious or civil - Serazzi offers music on the piano (his digital piano, which can be brought to church and anywhere) and on the organ. Classical music by Mozart, Schubert, Scarlatti, Bach. Or the most suitable pieces from the Gospel repertoire. Or even contemporary instrumental music in the style (for example) of Ludovico Einaudi, Yann Tiersen. You can also opt for a sung piece like Schubert's Ave Maria or - of a completely different nature - Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah or others.
