Purple Cosmos is a wedding band based in the city of Leeds in West Yorkshire, England. This one-of-a-kind saxophone quartet is part of the company Wisteria Quarter and specialises in high-energy performances for you and your guests to enjoy the dance floor all night long. With a group of four saxophonists and a drummer, your celebration is sure to have a one-of-a-kind aesthetic.

Purple Cosmos has three setlist styles and a variety of songs in its repertoire, from classic disco tunes to modern pop tunes, to create a custom setlist for your wedding day. Their music packages include two sets of 45-minute performances, including your choice of a first dance song for a sentimental finish. From start to finish, the musicians at Purple Cosmos will be ready to give you and your guests a one-of-a-kind show.

What services do you offer?

What is included in the wedding package?

Our typical wedding package includes 2 x sets of 45 mins chosen from one of our three setlists. We include a choice of first dance song which doesn't have to be already in our setlists

How far in advance should I contact you?

It's best to book as far in advance as possible to be sure you can secure your date with us. We ask for 20% deposit within two weeks of booking

Yes we are always open to special requests! For your first dance song, this is a free extra that we offer

What's your experience?

We are experienced in providing music for all types of events - especially weddings. Our alter ego Wisteria Quartet regularly performs for wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions

Do you have your own equipment?

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Can you travel?

Yes, we cover the whole of the UK

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, we do not charge for travel under two hours. Anything over that, we would have to add on a small fee to cover travel costs

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Yes

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

What is the length of time of the act?

Usually 2 x 45 minutes but this can be adapted to fit in with your day

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

This depends on the venue but we like to have an hour to set up before we perform. We always arrive at a gig in plenty of time

Do you do open-air acts?

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

We would charge extra time at £400 per hour
