Simon Walker Music is an award-winning entertainment company in West Yorkshire. The highlight of your wedding evening will be the music. It's something that you and your guests will take away with you as the measure of a successful celebration. However it’s not easy to create atmosphere unless you have the charisma and presence of a professional musician like Simon Walker. Abundantly talented and internationally acclaimed as a crowd pleaser with a velvet voice, Simon is infinitely entertaining and will be among the most abiding memories for you to cherish.
Services offered
With a wealth of experience and a repertoire that he has been building on since he first began performing in 2005, he will provide you with a set list that will astound you and is tailored to your tastes. If by chance there is a song that you want not appearing on his list, Simon will be happy to learn it and play it for you on your wedding night.
He will do two sets of 45 minutes each and the covers he does can include Ed Sheeran, Oasis, Marc Cohn, Cyndi Lauper, Cher, Backstreet Boys, Goo Goo Dolls, Phil Collins, REM, Train, Prince, Savage Garden, Matchbox Twenty, George Michael, Bon Jovi, Rag N Bone Man, Stereophonics, Elvis, The Calling, Take That, McFly, Queen, George Ezra, Jeff Buckley, Coldplay, The Killers, and many more.

Provisionally 2 x 45 min sets but can carry on or split the timings if needed. However I can cover any part of the day so I’m able to stay longer

Don’t think twice
We saw Simon performing at a Wedding Fayre and our ears immediately pricked up.
It was our first time at a wedding fayre and we had gone purely to get some ideas but we knew there and then that we wanted Simon to be a part of our wedding.
The communication we had with him was great. Depite booking just under two years prior to our wedding, when we got in touch with him closer to the time to sort details out, he was very personable and remembered us. He always responded to messages we sent and we had a call with him to go over a few things to make sure the day flowed perfectly from the music point of view.
As for the day, Simon was amazing. He covered our day from the guests arriving, to the ceremony, and then during the wedding breakfast.
Everyone we have spoken to either on the day or after have commented what an asset he was to our day. He did such a god job of the songs we chose to walk down and back up the aisle to, and for the rest of the day.
Would highly recommend Simon to anyone for their wedding or any other event.
We hope to see Simon in the future at one of his gigs, he had such a positive effect on our day.

Great job!
Simon recently performed during our cocktail hour at our wedding and he was so good! He moved from outside to inside all without a hitch - and was just great 😊 His voice is incredible and we are truly honoured to have had him at our special day. Thank you so much.

Simply Fantastic
Simon played at our Wedding and did an amazing job, such a nice guy with a great voice. He learned new songs for our ceremony and first dance, and filled the dance floor until the DJ took over. All our guests were impressed and said how they'd enjoyed his singing.
From my initial conversations with Simon, he's was helpful, accommodating and quick to respond. i'd highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks Simon

Super Star Simon!! ⭐️
We originally booked Simon for our 2020 wedding, unfortunately due to covid we had to postpone but Simon was so amazing and recorded us a song to play on our "should be wedding" which was a lovely touch.
We then rescheduled for our 2021 wedding and we were excited to see he was playing at a local venue so we went to watch.
Simon spotted us, waved and then played the song he had sent us back in 2020!
So lovely he remembered us and the same song too!
Meant a lot to us, it really did.
Unfortunately had to postpone our 2021 wedding too and change dates again to August 2022.
Finally, we were able to have Simon at our wedding, he played outside in our wedding venue courtyard and all of our guests expressed how amazing he was.
Simon did so great in the heat and every song was perfect.
Highly recommend for any of your future weddings.

Brilliant, Talented Musician
Simon was simply brilliant. We hired Simon for our wedding, to play during the drinks reception for a period of 2 hours. Prior to the day he asked what type of music we wanted him to play.
Simon went down a storm at the wedding, with compliments from many guests.
He was professional, great fun and happy to be playing, despite it being his son's birthday!
I would have no hesitation in hiring Simon again to play at future events!

The very best there is!!
We booked simon off of the back of a recommendation and i am so glad we did!! He has raw talent and created such a good vibe at our evening reception do! He was always available to answer questions and the cost was so reasonable considering how good he is!! He also made the best back dancer when i stole his mic - sorry again simon haha. Lovely Yorkshire lad, with a cracking voice!
We had the pleasure of Simon singer at our wedding on Saturday 23rd April.
We unfortunately had to cancel our original wedding date back in 2021, but Simon luckily had our rescheduled date available.
We watched videos on social media and YouTube of Simon & due to covid, we’re unable to watch him sing live until January this year.
Luckily, he was playing in Harrogate on the same evening we happened to be staying over.
We spoke with Simon after his set to confirm details and discuss song choices.
He was open and honest on the song choices we made and confirmed with us whether or not he would be comfortable in singing those requests.
We left the rest of the song choices up to him, as we were open to anything he felt comfortable singing from when the guests arrived, to the wedding breakfast.
The wedding guests absolutely loved Simon, and he really made our day that extra special.

Amazing!!!!!!
Simon played at our wedding a few weeks ago! And he was nothing short of amazing! He got everyone up and dancing ready to party! He also learnt and played our first dance song and that is something I’ll remember forever! Thank you so much! Xx

Just book this absolute Gent...
Me and, the finally, Mrs. Darnbrough cannot thank you enough for your contribution to our day. 4th time lucky, Simon was accommodating and flexible to provide ideally what we wanted for our day. The professionalism, presentation and performance was second to none and managed to adapt to the changing weather and environment that met us on the day. Simply, every bit of feedback that we got from guests was brilliant, from song choices, caliber of performance and approachability. If this man's style is for you, don't hesitate. Wedding Singer
Simon is brilliant, from first booking all through to our wedding day - communication, professionalism and his talent was amazing. Simon was very accommodating and sang our first dance song as we requested. He was the perfect fit for our special day, and every one of our guests absolutely loved him. Along with being very talented, he is a genuinely lovely man. Thank you Simon.

Absolutely amazing, couldn’t have asked for anything more
We booked Simon after watching one video of him performing. After searching for weeks we knew he was exactly what we were looking for straight away. Simon went above and beyond to make sure our day was amazing from day one. We initially booked Simon to sing/perform our ceremony songs and stay for around an hour after to play for the guests whilst we we’ve off having photos, etc. Just after we had booked Simon we went to see him play at a local pub and booked him for a further three hours, so our evening guests wouldn’t miss out on how amazing he was. Simon was so responsive to all of my messages and happy to go along with anything that we suggested. If you have not already booked Simon I highly recommend you do, and if you have already - book him for longer. We will forever be a fan of his work, we wholeheartedly trusted Simon to do whatever he felt was right on the day and we have no regrets. All of our guests commented on how amazing and friendly he was - we literally can’t thank him enough - he set the vibe for our day and it was so relaxed and enjoyable, we will forever be grateful for his involvement in our special day.

After finding simon through an online search at the beginning of 2023 we really liked what we saw/heard!
We then went to a few gigs and were definitely not disappointed!
Simon is so talented and we were so happy that we had booked him for our special day!
He was more than happy to answer any queries and got back to us promptly.
Simon did 2 sets at our wedding, one for the drinks reception and one for the evening reception. He even sang our first dance which meant the world to us!
He covers many genres which all of our guests absolutely loved! Definitely gets everyone in the mood!!
He really did go above and beyond and we were so lucky to have him celebrate our special day with us!
